It's not designed for off grid living, nor is it something that you should abuse without regular charging. @gardenersdelight the ultrasonic sensors have a black wiring loom that runs from the passenger side rear to the driver side clipped under the rear body panel behind the clip on plastic bumper Did your van have them as it's a trim option, or have you had a crash damage repair as they should be clearly visible and distinguishable

@@AW-Services it does have a wire clipped into, but the connection that is there won’t fit any sensor, I think something is missing, I just bought the van yesterday.

Don’t think I can add pictures on here. Will try to go to the scrap and see if I find a similar van and check the connection.

@gardenersdelight maybe it has aftermarket sensors with a different type of waterproof 2 pin plug.

Have you ensured you are using a high-quality (data) capable usb C lead and not a cheap Chineseium charger lead that doesn't have data pins

@@AW-Services I’m using 2 separate two pin cables to usb that came with other baofeng radios I had before, the charger cable for this uv-999pro max is a usb-C that connects straight to battery pack, I dont think that’s used for programming

@richardroberts6393 Sorry, my brain fell asleep. You need the generic 2 pin kenwood programming cable, and it can't be cheap one as many don't have the correct chip set. I have a genuine one from Baofeng.

You've obviously not got a pump with a microswitch pressure switch, or you have one, but the microswitch is broken

You shouldn't use PTFE / Teflon tape on anything that hasn't s course thread pitch. Not to be used on any window cleaning equipment or plumbing brass compression fittings

@LeoGommans try it on multiple radio mangers. I mainly use chirp for my UV-9R pro and what ever software I listed here for this radio. Have you looked at your comm ports in device manager

@jamiesays7440 what's wrong with it? The main flaw is that the speed controller circuit board is not sealed and is simply screwed to the inside of the base. It's an extremely simple fix. The other issues are battery contacts corroding. I'm based in North Devon but haven't the time to do any more work, unfortunately. @disclosed2229 Yes, ethos exactly. It's never a bad thing to change oil twice of more times a year, along with a new spark plug and air filter. If it's not on a building site it will last a lifetime

@johnbowles4754 use a rectus 21 female to 1/4" fitting, then connect a 1/4" male bsp to barb fitting into that, then attach to your pump outlet hose. @andrewaranda4215 what do you mean by the term open your gear? The S2000 paired with a reputable gotek will offer great ease of use and more enjoyable. I've had to relearn a lot about all my samplers. I was a right know all in the 90s and could do amazing things with them. Having a gotek is basically a storage device that holds disk images, and with stored or saved samples, it's better than a floppy disk. Are you wanting to control your S2000 via an old PC using scsi ?

Kumusta, I'd recommend buying a gotek emulator with a preloaded disk images and OS because I have so many enquiries from other users across the globe with issues where they purchase an emulator without the OS and disk images yet they don't work. I have made an enquiry with the seller I use to see if he offers shipping to the Philippines. Do look for a gotek emulator package with an included USB thumbdrive that's preloaded with everything you need to run your sampler. I'm Austin by the way

Hi Austin, got everything starting up fine now, but if I try to load or save recorded samples, I get the __F message in the Akai screen.

There was another viewer that I can recall having this error message. Something in the back of my mind makes me think it is something to do with the thumb drive needing an additional blank disk image or something similar. You either have a dud battery with an extremely quick discharge or a faulty volt meter. I've never seen this fault, and I use many of the same or similar volt meter regularly. Test your battery on a multi meter for voltage, and if there's any loss. Swap out and replace your volt meter

@@JonColbert you can add a 5 amp fuse after your switch and to the positive leg of the cigarette lighter socket. That's the only device that's needs to be current limited & fused.

Remove the small inserted Phillips screw which secures the outer metal body. Hold the black protruding female piece and half quarter turn to separate the two pieces. Ensure you place the outer metal cover over your cable first and undo the two screws on the cable clamp and continue to solder your two wires onto the two tabs

The power bank shouldn't really be used to power high current items, and it's perfectly for phones, cameras, Gopros, drones, camping lighting, or two-way radios, so I've just used a 5 amp maxi blade fuse between the positive from the battery to the panel switch. Working from your van if your vehicle is likely to pose a risk to other motorists or pedestrians, etc Then, when working on a live carriageway, there's also the legislation where a vehicle requires two-tone prismatic reflective batternburg vinyl If you're a self-employed sole trader, you need to look at the big utility companies like British Gas, Wales & West, national grid, open reach etc and see if your practices of work match theirs as they follow chapter 8 by the word.
