@@meltingmemoriesco I was thinking about considering this brand, but too many mixed reviews is making me think inconsistent batches is an issue. Might have to skip it and just stick to my trusty Bond no9 Scent of Peace.

Aw thank you. There’s so many different dialects of Portuguese. You have it from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique & Capo Verde! And we have a very large Chinese community as well in Portugal. It’s very multicultural here. I love seeing it.

That’s so amazing to have! To be able to learn before integrating! We didn’t have that necessarily. Just classes for ppl to learn other languages (French being the main one) and some schools having Italian and Portuguese. Maybe they’ve done that here now but I have zero idea.

@@meltingmemoriesco if I didn’t end up moving to Maine in 9th, I was enrolled for Portuguese 1 my freshman year but when I moved to Maine they only had French and Spanish so I ended up doing French. I would have loved to learn the language because some of my dads family like my aunts who married my dads brothers are 💯 Portuguese and speak it fluently.l especially my Aunt Demello. My dads side of the family is Romanian ( Gypsy ) so that’s why people growing up assumed that I was Portuguese

The other store we have has even MORE. It’s actually amazing every time I see it. Like I’m overwhelmed of seafood cause the fish are MASSIVE!

It’s always full of so much produce! We have figs, avocados, plums, oranges, lemons. The figs and plums are my fave! Plums are so freakin juicy!

That’s great to know haha! I just wish we had the smaller bottles the bigger ones take me so long to finish lol 😆 I just hate keeping them open! 😆 I have yet to see them at my lcbo or grocery stores. I’ve only found the blackberry, apple, pear and I forget the other one.

@@meltingmemoriesco oh wow! You really don’t have many. At the start of summer we bought a bunch for our bar fridge we got apple, pear, red rhubarb, mango lime, and black berry. The cans are big I agree usually I split it with my boyfriend

Hey Jessica! So I’m just in Portugal on vacation! I was born in Toronto! My parents are both Portuguese so they come every year now that my dad’s retired. I just decided to come on an extended vacation since Covid had me not using any of my vacation that was carried over every year. When someone moves countries they can either sell everything or have things shipped on a boat to where their moving too. But yes to answer your question I’m still very much living in Canada! Toronto to be exact :)

I’m trying to film whatever I can! I just filmed my mom making a feijoada de peixe (basically a bean stew with fish) I normally always eat the meat version so figured I’d see what she does to make it with fish. I’ll be watching yours as soon as I’m back home! Haha

Hey love! So I don’t have an issue with that warmer at home (in Canada). I used it everyday. It’s the fact I’m using it in Europe so the outlet is different and could be the cause of the smoking. Like literally I could see the heat coming from it. It might just be too much that I have to use the converter from the American plug into the European plug causing it to over heat. I definitely will be enjoying my stay. 1 month of pure bliss 🥹

Oh shoot really how do You normally eat them?

@@meltingmemoriesco I'm an odd duck, but I eat them a couple ways. I would empty the pouch into a salad and eat it that way. I would also take the tuna out and mix it with some Hellmans mayo and make a tuna fish salad with it and have it on flax seed wraps.

Lawd lol I love Chobaniiii flip so sooo good!

@@meltingmemoriesco I had to add the flips to my grocery list for the week 🤤 yeah, that aisle wasn’t as stocked full as my store is - top to bottom with wax! I can easily spend a good hour sniffing if there’s new scents. I’m glad you found ones you like!

I know some Walmarts have wayyyy more but this helped take care of my itch for the wax lmao 🤣
