I have done the same with my anxiety. I talk to it and it listens. Your thoughts and feelings and emotions are like little entities that make up your mind, and they're all trying their best to do what's right by you. But they don't always know what to do. Which is why they feel anxious. What they need is a leader, someone to tell them what to do. You are that leader. You can tell your anxious thoughts and feelings to calm down. Just simply say, it's ok guys, there's no need to worry, everything is ok. I am in charge and you can relax and let go now. It's been my experience that they do listen immediately and there is peace and quiet. All your mind needed was to know that someone is in charge. This is the first time I've ever heard someone else come up with the same or similar thought. Talking to your pain is a great idea. I will certainly try it the next time I'm hurting. Now I'm also wondering if you could talk to someone else's pain? Would it also listen?

This is great. I really like the way you talk about meing a leader. And the casual way you communicate: "Hey guys..." About talking to someone elses pain is an exciting question. I guess we then are moving into energy healing?

‘Mind over matter’ Some people do not want to evolve with their life, you are quite correct; with pain identification. I have a friend who introduces himself as: ‘mental health issues’ - which is his rationalisation for taking medication, thus enabling his ‘condition’.

Ok this is weird , not sure this was the video I listened to , I’m fundamentally a Christian not a fundamental Christian there is a difference. Anyway for a number of weeks I’ve been been dealing with shoulder head & ear pain & it’s while not debilitating it’s been constant & interferes with my ability to work & various other things. Anyway I said to the pain today ( thanks to one of your previous videos haven’t listened to this one yet) I acknowledge you , I accept you & perhaps you are telling me I have to make some changes in what I do & how I do it , noted , so message received & understood & if you leave now I will try to incorporate those changes in my life & Unbelievably the pain subsided !!! I have dug deep into various mystical & spiritual ways , but man this is so simple & again only 12 hours in but at least I’ve gotten than respite, long may it last!

This is related to many mind/body techniques, interestingly Joe Dispenza charges thousands of dollars and endless hours of meditation with similar results. Of course it appears more effective because he pairs it with diagnostic testing and proof. I like where you're going with this, it's simple, effective and inexpensive.

Once you realise that you are talking to a devil, an unclean spirit, and not a physiological ailment, you have power. No need to be polite to devils. Mark chapter 5, Luke chapter 8, etc. etc. Those in Christ know this, and have power and authority to cast it out; in the name which is above every name. Jesus Christ.

@@StrangePainDiscovery Well, going by scripture, you become 'of God' when you put your trust in the Saviour - by believing the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, John 1:1-17, 3:1-36, Romans 10:1-21). Until then you are not, but are lost, alien, hopeless, a child of 'another' spiritual father. (Ephesians 2:1-22, John 8:1-59). Sorry if it seems like you have been bombarded with texts, but it really is an eye-opener once you realise that physical ailments are just manifestations of a deeper spiritual problem. A cure for which being found, literally 'in' the creator. (Isaiah 53:1-12, Matthew 13:15, John 12:40, Acts 28:27). Just beware of 'fake' healers, that have a form of godliness, but feign themselves healers, and do so for money and gain. Jesus always heals for free. (Acts 8:1-25, 2 Corinthians 11:1-15). Some years ago I had awful reflux that was 10/10 painful and did not respond to any pharmacologic therapy except viscous lidocaine. After going to the emergency room a few times and receiving this treatment, I asked my doctor for a prescription to keep at home for when I needed it. She told me that lidocaine was not a treatment for reflux. I never had reflux again. I feel that she spoke directly to my pain, telling it with authority that it was pointless and childish to continue in this manner, and it should just give up since there were no options for treatment. She didn't say any of that, but it was more about who she was and how she said it. I believe that this may be one of the reasons that doctors try to cultivate an authoritative manner. At their worst they seem like egomaniacs or defensive, but the best of them have personalities that are mature, trustworthy leaders, not to trick us, but to encourage our bodies to cooperate and heal.

They say they want to go to a doctor for this or that, and I tell them "Hear what doctor has to say, but don't believe what he says. And don't repeat what he said to anyone else.but youe very closest and most trustworthy friend" and also " Tell your head to tell your body to get rid of that which is bothering you." Basically this works as long as you believe it works. This is why faith healing also works for similar conditions if you believe it works. It can also work the other way where your mind is tricked into feeling pain for example with chronic pain sufferers. So it'll work if you believe it, for sure. I haven't yet found a reliable method to make someone (or make youself) believe it, though. There's all sorts of info about this from Curable, Alan Gordon's PRT, Dr John Sarno's TMS, Nicole Sach's journalling approach etc. etc. Absolutely no doubt it works for you, but it won't work for everyone! I had an experience where one day my chronic IBS was cured as I was doing a meditation communicating with (and soothing) my inner child. It didn't last though, and the next time I tried it, such was the fear that it wouldn't work again, that it didn't work again! The brain is a weird thing and even the best neuroscientist in the world have no idea why it works!

I have had various tricks through the years, at one point i was really good at it. One piece of warning i would give is too be carefull about tricking your brain. Sounds kinda silly, but you might actuallu get too good at it. This can lead to missing important warning signs, confusion about what youre really feeling, and even a separation from reality. Also, physical pain and emotional pain are intertwined, so the effects you induce on one will will also be induced on the other. One of pain’s main objectives is to bring your attention to an area of the body that is experiencing issues. Sounds simple but as the saying goes “Where attention goes, energy flows”. Placing your attention on the problem area is exactly what is being asked of you for maximum healing potential. Modern medicine is teaching us to ignore and hide the pain which is to do the exact OPPOSITE of what needs to happen! Inversion (in all areas of life) is rife these days, follow your intuition and not the so called ‘experts’.

I can relate to this. If I can I avoid pain killers. When I 'acknowledge' any pain it does appear to ease and mostly go away.

I'm closing my eyes so, I can't be distracted and then, I visualize a sharp object piercing the location of the pain so, it creates a stronger pain, in 2-3 rounds of 5-10 seconds each. I'm mimicking with my hand that I'm doing it with that sharp object. It works every single time for many, many years even on light cracked bones I've head by accident. Pain is just a signal in the brain actually very useful to our surviving reactions. Anesthetics work on those areas of the brain but, you don't have them handy in emergencies.
