went to grand bazaar today, Marmaris, not expecting alot, but at least ok standard with all the great reviews, it was run down, young sales guys ‘friendly’ and even if you tell them you not interested they still get you in, to show what they have, and when they should of left you first time, and you still show no interest, can get a negative vibe and even aggressive. In shop selling just clothes, like tshirts, man got me to enter his shop, telling me to check his ‘quality’ (all counterfeit) clothes, told him right at first encounter I had no interest of buying any tshirts or clothes and asked if shop had toilet, he ‘happily’ opened toilet door for me, I thanked him, on exit, he tried to get me look at more clothes, but told him again, not interested, and as I walked out, he told me to come back and showed me the toilet door, which had the sign ‘500lira for use of toilet’ l refused to pay telling him he should of warned me of charge , he replied that he would call the police. I told him to! And then exited, to which he tried to get the sales young men in the other stores to stop me leaving, but they just looked and never approached me. Awful experience. Do not go!

This brings back so much memories😢. Going in 11 days again so looking forward to it 😊

Hated everything about this hotel. Kids pool with slide was only open for 10mins. Food wasn’t always available when it said theres always something available including snacks. Had to keep asking for room service or else rooms won’t be getting cleaned, argued at arrival as they put us in wrong rooms. Entertainment is going until really late and starting really early and can hear it non stop- really loud! No peace and quiet. If you have young kids and put them in bed decent time then don’t bother coming here. We also had ants on our beds and in room

What rules is there is it headshots and no bang rule?

Awful empty town the spirit ripped out of it by the planners. Shouldn't have built the retail shopping centre near and encouraged all stores to the main street with attractive rates and rentals. Real shame...

We were staying at this hotel in may 2022 and found everything brilliant the rooms the food and all the staff, I have to have gluten free food and every time we went to the dining room it was pointed out to me where the gluten free food was and our young grandson was with us and one of the waiters would take our grandson up to the snack bar and get him ice cream and orange juice and that same waiter when he was passing our table if he saw my drink was getting to the bottom of the glass he would go away and get me another as I said everything was brilliant I could not fault the hotel or the staff and the entertainment team were great.

I used to play in the lifts at the castle gate car multi story when I was a kid ! All those memories are gone.....

The highlight of my one and only butlins holiday was packing the car up at the end and leaving. Cost a fortune because we had to take the kids off site to find them entertainment because they were bored.

Used to work in Stephenson House which were offices above the shops in the Centre. Sad to see its decline which probably started when Teesside Park opened and took trade away from the High Street. Still it will be good to open up the riverside.

Used to come here with my mother and siblings. We came for 3 years on the bounce during the summer holidays, 06, 07 and 08. The place has really changed. The boat house where the back right sits used to be a wall with a soft play area. Good times here with my family.

i have been on a safari and it was very good because we were fighting with water and we took a bucket and threw the water on everyone else and we drove very fast and there was food and the food was very good.
