ROAD TO RECOVERY WEEK #1 | Jack Druery
Here we are. Week #1 on the Road to Recovery from my little spil up at #CrankworxCairns
We are finally back home and getting stuck right into it to make the most of the time off the bike to come back swinging. Unfortunately, my little slide-out led to a broken thumb that now requires surgery to put back in place leaving me with a bit of an extended recovery time.
I'm starting this mini doco series to help out you guys stuck in a rut with training, those with an injury and to give a better look into my life as an athlete & Coach for SuperDust. Each week I hope to give you more and more insight into some more of the finite details aside from training and take you on my little journey through surgery and rehab.

What a wild ride. Crankworx Cairns 2024 definitely didn't go to plan, but I had an absolute blast with the SuperDust team all week on the sidelines. I'm unfortunately facing a couple months off with a broken thumb (crash incoming) bu, we are back on the grind to make the most of the time off the bike.

GARAGE GYM RENOVATION PART #1 | Jack Druery

A bit of a different one on today's agenda. It's p[art #1 of the Garage Gym Renovation. On this episode, we knocked up a feature wall and rearranged the racks and gear, plus we managed to fit in a storage rack and workshop bench for the bikes and all my spares. We have a long way to go before it's completely decked out, but it's a good interim to get me by for now.

What a day in the mud! Heavy rain all week gave us quite the challenge this weekend with super sticky, sloppy mud to hit all 6 stages out at Kooralbyn for the first round of the Scenic Rim Enduro Series. Dual Slalom, Day #5 at the Cannonball Festival 2024 was insane!!! Honestly so shocked to have made it to the big final, especially considering a huge knockout race in Quarter Finals. One for the memory books for sure.

A huge da #3 up on the hill for Flow Enduro Race. An 8-minute full send down with some crazy fast sections, tight berms, and a whole lot of jumps. Had an unreal day #1 in Thredbo for a big practice day for the festival. Flow & all mountain tracks were sick, had an unreall time on the #superdust photoshoot with ya main man Staggsy dusty in the dust, but had a blast and cant wait to get between the tape tomorrow against a stacked field.

Headed up to #brisbane for a shred with the boys down some sick trails in the wet and stupid heat. Aimed for a massive 1500m vert but pulled the plug a little earlier to ease the shoulder back into things. Had a blast and am definitely keen for more.
