Fjords Cruise Excursion | Geirangerfjord Tour (P&O Iona)
We booked this awesome Fjord RIB boat tour with Fjord Guiding when in Hellesylt on our Norwegian Fjords cruise aboard the P&O ship, Iona this summer.
Whizzing between several scenic points of interest in Geirangerfjord it was a real thrill ride, always feeling safe, but very exciting.
There was an option to book a RIB tour as an excursion through P&O cruises as an official excursion, but we were confident in booking this independently as it came with a generous refund policy for cancelations if for instance the ship were to miss the port due to bad weather.

In this spectacular anti-climax I peel my Honda Cub (C90) away from my garage wall and grimace as I dare to think that a year of neglect can be overcome by a litre of Super Unleaded and a couple of hours with the battery on charge.... @@christianluff yes, the one hour cruise is full of fun, never got bored, specially the story of the ghost town at the bottom of lake minnewanka👍 plus the not so expensive canoe, kayak and motor boat..the canoe rental at Moraine lake is just outrageously expensive!😱

two nights with no electricity...how did you survive ?
It was really good, not a problem. there was a limited time each night where they’d run the generator and you could charge phones and cameras before lights out!

This was back in 2015, I'm not sure there are too many of these in the area, but definitely a great find. You wouldn't forget it. The base of the chair lift is Les Lindarets, which is seemingly owned by goats :)

Hi, can I experience the snow in November? Cable car of aiguille du midi will be closed during November :(
If the cable car is closed for maintenance I’m quiet sure you’ll still be able to see some snow. Check if the Montveners railway still runs, to see the Mer de Glacé and the ice cave :-)
