    After all, a big financial scam has taken place here, when the winner has already received such a large jury score on Friday that no other country has had a realistic chance of getting a higher score and yet they have been asked to vote on Saturday. It would be fair to the people who voted in vain if Eurovision and ebu published the number of paid votes. Even more it starts to look like a shady activity when they don't take any position on this commotion and delete people's comments on social media. I believe that next year's Eurovision should be canceled completely if the EBU continues to hide. Sweden can keep them as soon as the money collection scam has been investigated.

    I don’t mind the jury votes but i think that the jury and public votes should carry different weight in the scoring. Ultimately the public vote should have more weight to it. If the jury vote keeps swinging results away from the popular vote as it has this year people will want to scrap it totally. I reallt wish Cha Cha Cha had won it is such an earworm and when the tone shifts it is such a feel good song.

    This years Eurovision had something so wholesome vibes that I truly hope that the aftermath will not stain it ! Loreen was great and Käärijä was a mood a vibe a feelgood performance. We seem to forget that Eurovision is a song contest,not a singing contest and it is all about the whole act that speaks to people. There is no doubt Loreen is a superstar and an talented artist but was it new?Fresh? Anyways Gongrats to Sweden and Loreen and Käärijä for being such a lovable person with a courage to perform in his own language and being him self !

Good job Sweden next year your ABBAvision where there is no audience votes because it doesn't matter at all.

    Lets be real: multiple juries just wanted to see an ABBAversary in Sweden because its a nice narrative, and you can tell because if that werent true then Finland would have been receiving much higher points with those same juries even if Loreen still got the 12s, because that would closer reflect the televote patterns and how close both songs were in quality. But he didnt, Sweden got 12s while Finland was often nowhere to be seen on those same jury scores, it was a deliberate shut out.

  • @andromidius
    @andromidius Před 11 měsíci

    A lot of acts got completely overlooked. And even I could tell that despite not being a fan of many of the genres they were performing. For example, Belgium had the best male singer despite the song itself being forgettable (to me) - I was more just thinking how good he was the entire time and none of it sank in. I know everyone can't win, but the laser focus the judges had did strike me as very odd. Sweden's entry wasn't bad at all - but wasn't clearly superior (and the live performance was middling - was better in the studio recorded version). Britain didn't deserve so few points but it was clearly the worst. Again, studio recording is decent - but live it the sound balance was off as if they were trying to hide the singer's voice. And Germany was just flat out insulted and the band clearly knew it by how done they were whenever the cameras occasionally pointed their way.

      I was genuinely expecting france to get more points or even switzerland because they are jury friendly songs plus france was great. Im suprised that certain people don't realize that the way jury voted is definitely sus and just think its because it had the best everything, when it did not. Lots of them say that jury is there to keep a balance but how the hell was this balanced at all?

    As a swede this victory makes me feel guilty and icky. It's really sad that this was the outcome of the competition because I was really hoping for Finland to win this year. Demoralizing for the public to know that our clear favorite got robbed just because a big majority of the jury didn't see/understand the brilliance of this song and performance. People will definitely remember this gem for years and years to come, and every reference to it in the future is going to remind me of the joy this has given to myself and so many other people around the world. Käärijä has won our hearts and has made history by simply being himself. Hoping Finland will be able to get back up and deliver something even more awesome next year, hopefully with Käärijä if he feels up for it! Thank you Käärijä, we will never forget our true winner of Esc2023 💚💚💚

    People put your names on those petitions of taking jury down from eurovision! As long as money is on play there is gonna be someone using it. Not only in eurovision but u know. Why do we vote if it dont even matter...and jury voices are 50/50 even if there is just couple persons vs. "normal people" votes. It has been un fair game for long time. Why cant they admit who was the winner this time like in real....Lets just boycott this.....=no views=no money=something has to change.

      Finally! Someone who agrees that Armenia's pop song was better than Sweden's! Much catchier and more emotional, while, for me, Tattoo just sounds like a downgrade copy of Euphoria and even after hearing it dozens of times, I can't for the life of me recall even the chorus. It's not bad by any means, but it's just another forgettable pop song that doesn't have any umph to it. Personally, I LOVED Lithuania over Sweden as well (if we're comparing specifically entries with one main female singer). The juries should've definitely given more points to other better contestants this year. Also, still can't believe France placed so low, what even.
