Purples n' Oranges is a band formed in 2017 at the University of Santo Tomas by a group of schoolmates who initially just wanted to hang out and jam to their favorite songs. With a bit of hard work and a ton of collaborative efforts, they officially started releasing music and playing gigs in 2018.
After a brief hiatus in 2021, the band started working on new music again and even expanded their signature chill Pop, R&B/Soul sound.
The band’s current lineup consists of Bong Manalang on the bass, Bon Madum on the drums, Tom Tagra on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Himig Borja on MIDI sequencers and backup vocals, Matthew Sola on lead guitar, and Josh Evangelista on percussion.
