So I went to Walmart today, I'm a hispanic male, older, not a young guy, but I'm not gonna lie, I look white. So there's a guy checking receipts he looks to be Asian or eastern Indian or a combination of both, anyways, the store is PACKED, he's stopping EVERYONE in front of me and everyone in front of me is visibly hispanic. I get to the door and start to hand him my receipt and he waves me off and says "no no you're good, have a good day" now I was super pissed for my people, OBVIOUSLY this guy was doing some racial profiling here. Oh BTW, I live in a city with a high population of Hispanics, (Spanish people, Mexican people) and some white and native American too. Population split is probably 60% hispanic, 35% white, and about 5% native American. I could be wrong but this is my best guess.

Anything you cannot bag or is big, they will stop you to see your receipt. Has happened to me many times because I was not able to bag the big items. Just keep your receiot, you don't know when they will stop you.

Why are you so upset about the employees asking to see receipt? If you paid for it then you have nothing to hide. Just show them receipt before they call the cops in. If cops ask for receipt and you refuse to show proof of purchase then you get arrested. You don't need to keep arguing, their store their policy. You are holding yourself up and wasting your time, whip out the receipt and let them count the item so you can leave.

It's not bagged, they think it is a "grab and go" transaction. Put them in bags and keep your receipt, you don't want to get arrested for not showing receipt to police.
