Great choice Squire quality has come a long way even with their budget models. One tip I would give is place a piece of cloth like a cut up t-shirt behind where the neck of the guitar sits on the stand. I had a stand like that and in time the dyes discolored the back of the neck. It may not happen to you but it is cheap insurance.Good luck on your musical journey.

I bought a Squire Strat a while ago and I’ve been super happy with it. Good luck on your guitar journey! I’m also pretty new but I’ll tell you what everyone tells me, consistency is key! Doesn’t matter what or how you practice, as long as you do it consistently
