I'm pushing 70 but one of the greatest memories I have of elementary school is my 3rd grade teacher reading to us after lunch! She would read a chapter while our tummies were full and we were relaxed and not distracted by hunger.

When managing big groups of students being as specific as possible as to what you want and what you expect from them is kind and sets kids up for success. You can look at it as rigid or you can look at is as well planned.

When I do a waist band I sew down the seam allowance to the skirt at the top on the back side. Then I fold in the ends to the length I want. Then I top stitch the front of the waste band. This avoids me not pinning and/ sewing in the wrong spot. And 5:51 then fixing. But either way works. Love this skirt.
