To be clear: the thing you're calling a hack is not a hack; Valve intends for people to use the Deck this way and supports it officially. I really like the Steam Deck, and because I have large hands the size is actually great for me. Setting up other storefronts on it is a little more work than it is on Windows, but most of it is still pretty easy and there's plenty of videos on CZcams on how to do it. I've set up the Epic Games Store, GOG and Minecraft on mine. Same with emulators if you want to play games from older systems. If you want to get into PC handheld gaming but don't like the Steam Deck though, maybe look at the Asus ROG Ally? That one's a little smaller, has more conventional controls and runs Windows out of the box.

The Stream Deck is an excellent product, and I recently purchased the refurbished LCD model. I am confident that the LCD model will not be phased out anytime soon due to the OLED model. The company is refurbishing LCD models to extend their lifespan, and new users, such as myself, are still purchasing them. It is important to note that the Stream Deck system should not be placed on top of a pillow, as this will block the vents that provide airflow to keep it cool. This is not recommended.

Ok so I really really like this, such a nostalgic feel to the music, its gorgeous and I do love the concept of this game. I have to say....the map is a concern for me!! I would have been just as baffled!! This one will be going on my wishlist though. This game seems really up my alley!

Thanks for making this video! I too am a mac girlie and I love my AC Switch but I hate waiting for releases on Switch. I'm looking more into the OLED Steam Deck, I like that they made a dock for it too cause I mainly like to game docked and lay in bed or my couch. Love seeing another Latina cozy gamer 🤎

I lived with CFS for many years. I didn't know about Robin. I enjoyed your video and have enjoyed some of the same games. I saw a cozy gamer recommend a PC game that I think would fit in this category. It's called Garden Galaxy. I wish it was on Switch!

Love picking up my 3DS and playing some pokemon when getting sad. Reminds me of simpler times. Really appreciate this video! As someone who suffers from depression, my cozy games for some time were horror games and still are. From silent hill to some more obscure titles they just somehow brought me comfort. I've been getting more into cozy games and I understand the appeal now HA My favorite of the cozy games are smushi come home and AC new horizon!

I plan on getting one in the future. I was debating on the lcd version or a unpatched switch. I chose the switch for now because I don’t feel like diving into a new consoles “world” at the moment.

I just jumped both feet in, sold my Xbox series s, Nintendo switch, and some other doodads and bought one, the 64gb lcd one, then I got a 1tb micro sd and eventually I’ll replace the m.2 with a 2tb one eventually.
