Yes, there are several interpretations of this song, in the same way there are several songs that have "malagueña" in the name, look for flamenco guitarists.

Grand Funk Railroad was a strong candidate for this list, however their time as a trio was quite short, at the beginning of their career, from 1969 to 1973, afterwards they always performed with a minimum of 4 members, which is why we decided not to include them. Ugh this is not a good list. It says vocalist, not front man or songwriter. Vedder, Morrison, Cobain, Daltrey and Jagger should all be on a different list. Perry, Rose Bach, Dickinson and Orbison should replace them.

Frank Gambale is missing and I'd put Joe Pass as number 1 and Wes as 2.
I gave preference to traditional jazz guitarists on this list, listing few fusion artists. Gambale is on a specific list of jazz-fusion guitarists, check it out at czcams.com/users/shorts7rdcD2omzGE. Regarding first place on the list, it's quite complicated, there are two guitar giants, but in my opinion Wes Montgomery couldn't be left out of first place, although I recognize that Joe Pass has technical superiority (and he's been my favorite since always!), Wes' influence reached very high levels, he influenced and was revered by other giants such as George Benson, Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Norman Brown, Mark Whitfield, Earl Klugh, Emily Remler, Pat Martino, Joe Diorio and many others.
