it’s really cool for me to hear my history from another view instead of hearing it from people here
great doc! ive always loved the arctic since i was a teen now in my 30's. been back a couple times and i love to gain better insight on the culture, good and bad. It's important to understand the real history and what has been to the Inuit and but as well how far they have come in their healing from so much abuse. The once again flourishing Inuit culture deserves a spotlight.
In Canada We need to stop spending billions of yearly foreign aid overseas and remedy all the wrongs we have done to the indigenous peoples of Canada, which includes good housing, clean and plentiful water, health services. Community and transportation.
Many never saw their children again, just like Trump took the children away at the border. Back then they worked with catholic charities.
Despicable!!!!!! Where are their families now???? Not right but it happened and is still happening!!! I was in tears when I watched this and I understand this is from years ago which makes it even worst - did they ever find each other again ? Like they did in Berlin dividing families between east and west - what is wrong with us humans
