Our data has been collected for years. Its true, your phone covers your every move. Many companies have strict privacy policies on who and where that data goes. Ford does as well and uses data more for software updates and servicing recommendations

High prices on everything have been hard for people and businesses alike, we agree. We’re happy to see the rates drop, it helps.

The lease payment is good in Canadian markets, lowest it has been in a while actually. We have seen price reductions which is awesome, we agree. We are a dealership, not Ford of Canada so we don’t set the pricing or rates. We do our best to help our customers where we can.

Unfortunately you do need two keys to deactivate the MyKey features. We would recommend you return to the dealer you purchased the car from to discuss getting your second key programmed.

@@lacombeford that’s unfortunately what ive been doing for the last 3 years ive owned it. They keep saying “We’ll get right on that and get you one sent out”😂

@@kodygibson5802 oh shoot! Jeeze, we’re sorry to hear that. You can go to any Ford dealer for a key but that would likely mean out of pocket expense for you unless maybe they would reimburse you that cost. Wish we could help more.

Oh really? If you set the settings it should always stay associated with whatever number you assigned it to. Only changing if someone else resets. Otherwise their may be an issue with the programming system. A service centre could look at that for your

Nope I only have 1mykey cause I made a mistake and deleted the other one.

@@lacombeford I have one key fob, I bought another. My wife tried to program the new one while I was asleep. She ended up activating my key on my one and only admin key. Now I can’t drive over 80 mph and I can’t deactivate it. I am fighting the urge to fill my explorer full of .357 magnum slugs. I am scorched earth angry and my car is now a piece of shit

So unfortunately you will need a 2nd key to disable the MyKey settings. You get another set from your local ford store, just be sure one set is programmed as the admin key. Then you’ll need both sets of keys in the vehicle with you to deactivate MyKey.

Absolutely, we completely agree that this is not meant to be used for regular driving. It is in place to potentially avoid collision should you not react in time. Of course, it's technology and it can be affected by reduced visibility or weather conditions.

Hmmmm…. Let me do some digging on this and see what we can dig up!

If by any chance you are near us (Lacombe, AB) we would be happy to take a look and work on troubleshooting this with you. I did hear back from one of our specialists who says this actually may be an audio setting on your phone. You have to select the source in your settings. It may also be set up to default to only your phone or headphones and you'll have to adjust that to also include SYNC. Sometimes reinstalling the music apps can help too. Without seeing it, difficult to say exactly.

There are a variety of options for financing a vehicle. Having a down payment and employment always helps with getting financing approval. Our finance managers can take your information and do a pre-approval. This will let you know what the bank will approve and you can make your purchase from there (depending on this you can see if the Mustang GT price falls within your available loan amount). The soft pre-approval helps avoid affecting your credit score before making a purchase.

@@luisz3354 you need both keys, that is how the system works for security reasons (done by Ford manufacturing). You can get a second key programmed and you’ll be able to deactivate the system. If you are in our area we can help if you want.

Your vehicle is likely not equipped with Sync3, unfortunately.
