For as much as I've always loved fantasy, it being what inspired me so much as a child, I've begun to grow a serious distaste for it. Japan, America, it doesn't matter where the stories come from... They all feel recycled. I'm glad this show seems to have broken some character tropes from all across anime and not just the fantasy genre, but I want to see something different in the plot and worldbuilding, too. It doesn't feel fresh enough.

The biggest problem i have with most isekai is this. MC gets teleported there from another world. 5 minutes into the show that has become completely irrelevant to everything to the point where MC could have just grown up in the village down the road.

I tried to watch this show, but the dialogue.... The F'ing dialogue, it was schizoid, I mean I felt like there were cuts in the scenes like "Fight Club" Wenis added to the movie for a split second. I made it ten minutes into the very first episode, and was going to claw my eyes out. Just, NO!

Simple question mushoku tensei is the kind of anime where the main character doesn't get power right away but earns it through hard work if Rudeus did nothing outstanding while reincarnated he would just be a regular old villager but because he put work in he's broken but these new isekai'd are (excuse me for my language) half assed and barely have any brain power into there are mindless slice of life anime or an anime where the plot is good but the main characters character development is horrible

You give the new language to much credit but in the first episode they use another language and then they cameback to japanese just like the great pretender. Like they use that language very little, i doubt that is a language like the Tolkien ones.

i love moshoku tensei but i still think my favorite isekai is eminence in shadow, strictly for the reason that it goes a different route than the others. in the way that the character is the same dude but he got magic. no bullies in his backstory, he just wanted to be less batman and more nuke
