I actually just got done in organizing my fabric using the Marie Kondo method. I have done her method in my closet and OMG that was insane but I learned a lesson. I learned to take little by little and not create such a mess.

Well Patricia, I feel your struggle with organizing your craft room, lol. A friend got me into this hoarding addiction, lovingly called Junk Journaling about 3 years ago. 🥴 About 6 months ago, I just couldn't take the mess anymore, 😵‍💫 so since then, I've been trying to organize my craft room. I've seen the lady you mentioned, and yep, sorry, I LOVE every single piece of everything I have, mhm, can't help it, lol. I think I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm sorting through the odds and ends, which will be in labeled boxes and put under the bed until such time as I use everything that's on the shelves. Only then will a box be pulled out to refill the empty spot. On top of journaling, I knit, sew, paint and do floral designing, so mhm, the garage is next on the list, hope to have it cleaned and organized by next spring, jeepers!! lol I'm so glad you finally put out a new video, I check your site almost daily to see if there's a new one, even though it shows nothing new in the feed. Great project, something a little different is always nice to see, thanks for sharing. 💜🥰💜

I am so happy you are back. I loved this folio! Ok, you asked about.......craft rooms? I tore mine up several months ago & as of yesterday, it's still soooo far out 'a sorts. All I needed to do was move my table 6 more inches towards the door. I just wanted a few more inches to move around in. An' to do that, I had to tear my room apart. You know, move all the stuff that collects around a table and under your feet???? I thought this would be a 2-day project. It's now 4 months. And I've thought so many times.........OMG! What have I done? Yes, OMG! What have I done? An' example would be, I wanted to use one object, one little object, but I couldn't remember where I put it. So, I had to go thru every single drawer "n box to find one stupid object. I have 35 drawers. Not to mention all the clear tubs with misc. craft stuff I haven't found a place for yet. (Only because I decided to move my sewing machine onto the other table.......'n all that goes with it). Long story short. I finally found what I was looking for after two days. I found it in the same place it's always been for years. Just all the way at the back end of the long cabinet drawer. So, I did move it. (I looked in there three times). Bottom line, even if it takes me longer than I thought. I won't give up, an' oh yes, I've come in here to do a craft, took one look and turned around and walked right back out. I thought to myself what the bloody **** did I do? Be patient. It will be exactly what YOU want in the end.

OMG it's so sooo good to hear your Voice!! I thought something actually happened to you and I would not have your wonderful thoughts to ponder nor your creations to make. Enough about my vast emotions. Lol, I am happy to see you back - you have been missed - for sure! I do love the closure ( one can never have or give away too, many). Most of all I totally love that string holder and want to make one for myself. Thank you for being a positive and heart-warming human. Its nice to❤ share time with you!

Miss Patricia, I am so happy to see you back. I thought you might have gone on vacation again to France. This is fantastic and I love how you did the closer. I think I will try that glue. The ones I have are failures. As soon as you use it, it dries right away. What's up with that. You put a smile on my face when you say yes, yes. I love it. So, if you are redoing your craft room, you need to show us what it looks like and how you did it. I think that would be amazing. So glad you put out this video! What a great closure and tutorial. Regarding craft tools and inventory organization - I don't have a lot of space and I have been trying to figure out something because, all my 'stuff' is in the living room which is a small living room. It is a mess. But, it is my stuff and it will get sorted out somehow, some day. The down side is that no one can come into my house until I get this figured out. I love this folio, I like the version without the added ribbon on the back and the matching pencil - so cool. Yes, I have spent the entire summer remaking my guest room into a full fledged craft room. I can’t find a thing. My most important item a needle book (i made from scrap fabric) is lost. A bookbinder can’t do much without thread and binding needles. Oh well, you gotta laugh to keep from crying😂

I’m laughing my head out listening to your reorganizing story because I recently purchased storage cabinets & bends. Now things look great but I don’t know where anything is. I spend most of my time looking for rulers, scissors, glue, papers, etc.😳

Yay! She’s back! So good to see a video from you. I am having the worst time ever with organizing my space. I have half of my bedroom as my craft space, and of course I have way too much stuff and nowhere else to put it. I just don’t think it’s going to ever work out very well 😂. Happy to see a new video and I love this awesome closure. As far as my craft room is concerned, it is in an awful state. I have a room in the basement and we had pipes burst two separate times last year. Everything had to be moved out to my disabled husband’s relaxing space, and was stacked and piled everywhere. When It was time to move things back in my craft room, I rushed to get things out of his space and I just shoved it back in any which way. That was over a year ago and the nightmare just keeps getting worse. I can barely even walk from point A to B without tripping over something. It’s so crammed that I cannot organize anything in the space itself because there is NO ROOM at all. Sorry I’m no help.

As a fellow companion of Marie Kondo's organizational ideas....I also wanted to organize my craftroom. I ordered the shelves...moved everything outside of my craftroom and proceeded to "organize". I was sooo happy to SEE everything until I walked out and found all of the stuff that I had taken OUT of the craftroom. Im still struggling to put things away and now I am LABELING!! Thank you for sharing! Great closure and wonderful tutorial as usual! Love your style!

You did it again! Love the closure! And about the craft room. Remember I moved to Spain in March 2023? I put a lot of boxes on shelves and you know what: they still are! Not opened in one year and a half... Not knowing what is in there, so I should throw the boxes away. But... I can't! Never know what I could use. LOL! My problem is to find some sort of system to handle it. Hmmmm... to be continued!

Great to see you, and the pencil holder idea was just what I needed, and the new closure as well. I had a sister move in with me a few months back, so my dining room is now my craft room and our living room is our bedroom, so trying to organize it hasn't been easy and it still isn't done, by the time I am, hopefully we have a bigger apartment. Welcome back Patricia!! I just finished reorganizing my craft space….so yes, completely understand!! Mine was even worse cause haven’t been in it for over a year while my broken ankle and foot healed! Hubs has been just putting stuff up there (that I had out from before), so had to put all that away also! It was a MESS! Hope you are seeing the “light at the end of the tunnel!” Very cute Folio!!
