Xlink BT 2
Unboxing and review of the Xlink BT-2 landline to cell phone converter. This cool gadget allows me to connect my vintage/conventional phones to my cell phone. I can pick up any phone in my house and have the calls go out through my cell phone instead of through the old landline service.

zhlédnutí 28Před 7 měsíci
Is the water pressure from your shower pathetic? Do you have to almost run around in your shower in order to get wet? This video shows what I did to restore the water pressure in my shower, and the solution might surprise you. The fixture in this video is made by Kohler, and is the "Georgeson" model.

One of my favorite tunes during the Holiday Season. I don't hate Christmas, however I DO hate what it has become; a big greed fest. I think Christmas should be simple. Hope this video brings a smile to some faces. Have a great holiday season everyone.
Naturally HOPELESS hair! Salvaging a bad hair day (or trying to anyway)
zhlédnutí 44Před 7 měsíci
Who doesn't love those early morning hairdos? After looking in the mirror and cringing, I thought some of you may get a good laugh out of my bedhead hairdo. This video shows what I look like first thing in the morning, and what I do to attempt to rescue my naturally hopeless hair. Most guys don't talk openly about their hair. It takes guts to show you my hair situation and what I do to attempt ...

This clip is not a tutorial, just a friendly chat and unboxing. This is the first video I've edited using the Studio version of Davinci Resolve. Still learning how it works. So far, I really like it. Radio Shack 3 Channel Color Organ Kit

Take a trip back to the 1970s! "Far out, man!" This VERY flickery video was recorded using VHS tape, because, why not? We're talking about the 70's, right? I talk about 70's fashion, roller rinks, and disco lighting. I give a detailed description of a 3 channel color organ kit which Radio Shack used to sell. Video editors and educators, feel free to use this for training purposes, or just for fun.

I go over the features of the Clarinette 103. This video was shot with 2 vcrs and a camcorder, and yes, it was recorded on VHS tape. Why? Because I CAN!!!

Black Burst is the signal that feeds genlock inputs throughout a facility. It's a normal video signal that's just black.
Thanks for the review! Seems like a great gift for my parents!
The Onkyo RZ-50’s App for smartphones will function as a fine remote. Don’t worry about the lightweight of the provided remote because the smartphone app once connected to your head unit will be more functional.
Is it still working? It seems heating the chips is not a real fix which can fail again sooner or later. A real fix is to replace the 90nm rsx to another 65nm or 40nm, but that cost a lot of money.
Yes, it is working great.
Your ordered an Asus ProArt. They all have Gold lettering. They sell White Gforce 4080's Just saying... RGB?? Connection? Huh?? Nice card for sure! Pull all the plastic covering off. Are you going to use a support for that card so it don't sag?
great vibes great video
Great Av receiver, I love mine .. enjoy and don’t forget use Dirac EQ with Pc or laptop for better room calibration.
Good job. Hardware repair is stressful.
Thanks!
Had issues with vhs but never on beta or video 8. I thought it might be macrovision related.
this my favourite video good job
i think the bending of the top of the image is caused by creasing or crinkling the top or bottom of the tape. during the 2000s the last gasp vcrs was notorious for creasing the top or bottom of the tape because i guess the guides was slightly mis aligned and would cause the tape to be folded against the top and bottom plates on the analog audio/control head or did not sit on the groove on the bottom of the drum body.
It's from 1990, according to Video Magazine.
Vblank is probably vertical blanking - in other words that'll remove macrovision if turned on. RF in is used for dropout compensation and gets the RF signal directly from the video heads and that's how it knows when there's a signal drop to then compensate for it, most likely by replaying the line from the prior matching field or the line right above it. Usually there's a DOC sensitivity potentiometer as well that'll tell the unit at what level of RF signal is considered low enough to be considered a dropout. I haven't ever heard of anyone adding a DOC BNC to a consumer VCR, but it should be theoretically possible since it's most likely just an RF tap to the RF test point with a capacitor in series.
Hi, does this is full tbc, since frame and field tbc seems like different devices and some do both functionality etc
Its so nice we have full 4fsc frame sofware defined TBC today thanks to ld-decode and vhs-decode, with FM RF capture and preservation uprooting a market of inflation and outright missinformation.
Excellent video. Thanks for covering this.
Hiya gummy. I’m banned from Reddit. I will come back next month. Please tell everyone I said hi
I use to make capture with help of Pixel View low budget TV card, no problems what you have.
1:20 u mentioned to book taxi a head of time, I’m curious, my stay at the maya is in November n transportation is included in the exclusive stay at maya paraíso, dud yours not include it?
I guess the guy at 40 mins wasn't captured with a tbc ;)
Thanks for making this! I watched the whole thing over the course of the day, it was really cool seeing this
could you please add subtitles..
This looked so fun when i first found this video, that i went out and bought one with all the special gizmos & the graphics tapes collection.
Thanks for making this video, very interesting and informative. I really like old equipment, and have many analog video and movie film cameras, and love shooting with them all, but like you, I will stick with the mac for editing. Thanks again.
Can we just take a moment and appreciate how amazing this technology is and the fact that it even works at all...
Thank you for the information
The IVT-7 can be good in theory, but often is not. Far too often, these are abused, and yours appears to be no different. The signal gets wonky, and must be recalibrated, using the screws that you rightly mentioned should not be touched. All of the controls on these units are touchy, and it's hard to adjust. The now-noisy bad-bearing fan often needs to be removed. Heat is not a problem since you're unlikely to run this 24/7 as designed. Modding to remove the fan requires partial dismantling the unit, and isn't fun. This TBC is a large "pizza box" type unit, wider and longer than VCRs, with sharp corners and edges, so it will own any desk or cabinet where used. In general, I don't suggest these to casual or new users. You rarely see these units in decent shape, usually only as "parts only", again due to typical abuse from broadcast facilities.
Thanks for making this video. Very clear and informative. I’d love to know more about the old YC cable. It’s not a DUB connector? Also, do you have any idea what could be causing this psychedelic pattern to emit from my VCR: czcams.com/video/S8YW-celr1U/video.html
Why am I watching this. From the start to end???
i may be able to scan a manual for ya!
Did you ever get the i.den ivt-7 tbc manual scanned?

@@michaelkosciesza645 I'm considering buying one of these. Any chance you could post a link to the manual where we could download it or view?
You should have explained line TBC and frame TBC separately, They have different functions, It's more technical than what you can explain to the average person unfortunately.
thanks ,nice info !! i have one ,just learning
Glad you found it helpful.
@@gummyroach2653 yeah , iam trying to get copy of Manual, my unit is only producing black and white , won't play color , any ideas ? Thks
Good morning, gummyroach. it is pretty vibrant video. thanks. :)

Thank you sir! The only video on this unit on YT ❤
You're welcome!
Can’t get mine set up for some reason
There are a small handful of VCRs that aren't detected by this unit. Have you tried a different VCR?
Found your channel looking up the videonics mx1. I have a video project that I think it would be perfect for a project. Interesting channel, subbed.
It might! It does seem pretty long a process getting the machines synced up and using multiple tapes and eyeing your cuts like that.
Hi! This thing is very cumbersome and slow by today's standards. You're right; if the video was shot on multiple tapes and out of sequence (as most videos are!) it can take forever and a day for this editor to complete the job. Not the most time-saving, efficient gadget, but... it worked.
Awesome video brother.
Thanks!!!
Nice piece of kit. I have a later Videonics "MX-1" Video Mixer myself.
Cool! I have the videonics color equalizer. Back in the day, I wanted to get my hands on the video mixer, but that didn't happen. Now that we have digital editing, I don't really have a need for it.
I have one - never used it - seems archaic but if I were to see it does it have any value ?? God bless you brother, Keith
You can find these gadgets on Ebay every once in a while. I don't know that you would get much $$ for it, as it is VERY obsolete. Why spend a week and a half editing with this clunker, when you can do it so much easier with a computer, right? It was a great unit for its time.
