Day 3 Goog's Track Trip - Mt Finke to Goog,s Lake
Just a look at our 3rd day of our Goog,s Track trip in May 2024. We left Mt Finke campground and slowly went through to Goog's Lake campground. This is more to show you what the track is like with many sand dunes to travel over.

Just testing out the new GoPro. This is a combination of GoPro and dash cam footage. It's a bit shakey due to not yet having mu mounts attached to the car so I am holding the GoPro out the window.

Paringa Bridge

Managed to get a video of the Paringa Bridge opening to allow boats to go through. There usually is quite a few people watching it when it does open. It opens twice a day at 9:30am and 2:30pm if there are boats waiting in line.

Out riding with the lads to test out the new DJI Mavic Air 2. I have a lot to learn with trying to film moving objects but the Active Track does help. I did speed up the play back in places as we did leave the drone behind a couple of times at first so we rode slower to let it keep up.

With our new jetty ready to be opened to the public on the 16th Sept 2020, this is just a fly past of the finished jetty. Sorry for the shakey video it is one of the down sides of the Swellpro Spry plus drone, the lack of a 3 axis gimble.

I am in Whyalla right now. I absolutely love this Town and have been here quite a lot Was very tempted to move here. It's got so much packed into one little town. A great big shopping mall. Heaps of stores and shops. A beautiful beach area with great ocean views and lots of main shopping strips. A great spot ( big beautiful park area near the beach too ). Check it out babe...( T ). 🙂👍❤ I am not very far from this round jetty as I type this comment now...
Money well spent, a lot of unhealthy people are doing a jetty walk routine now. Better quality of life & saving the health system $$

It was taken using a drone. I flew on to the water took the footage and took off again. The advantages of having a waterproof drone.

Nice one. Is the camera on the Swellpro Drone attached to a gimbal, or is it fixed? It seems like you can rotate the camera but it's not on a 2 or 3 axis gimbal . The quality is good however.
It only has up and down movement (single axis gimble) so it is hard to get a stable shot.
@@myskyviews Many thanks. It's seems like a really great Drone regardless, and the video here is really good too. Just a couple of bits a little jerky (hope you don't mind me saying that) which comes downs to the single axis. The single axis would just mean a bit more editing for some...or more careful planning when filming to avoid jerky bits. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Yeh it's good to mix 2 of my favourite pass times together. I often ride to caches if possible. I just need to work out how to incorporate fishing with geocaching. I shot this video not starting not far from your cache as you would know.

I do plan to film a few of my kayak fishing ventures with the helmet cam when I get a chance.
Hi there, I only ride my bike in this area as the bulk of my fishing is salt water fishing on the Eyre Peninsula. My guess is if there are any fish it would have to be in any of the deeper perminent holes, maybe redfin? But i do know that when you get down to the Patawalonga at Glenelg you can find a sorts of esturary fish like bream and mulloway. I have only put bike riding videos on YT as I am usually to busy catching fish to worry about trying to film them.
