Awesome! This is the exact set up I want. What about the hot cue functions on the Rane Performer? How are they in regular jog wheel mode? That’s the only thing that would convince me to get a Four over a Performer for this kind of setup using 2 Rane 12s.
I need help! I just got mine and using Djay. Do you have it set as internal or external? Also my eq knobs don't move on the screen in Djay.
Set it to External because you are using a external hardware Mixer. I noticed the EQ knobs doesn't move also but the pitch fader and blue and black color effects knob will move on the computer screen in correspondence with the Mixer knobs. After adjusting the EQs on the Mixer you can adjust the ones on the screen for more added sound.
@@jersey21212121 thank you! Yes i recognize the samw on color knobs and pitch fader. When i press shift and beat jump buttons, it should change the jog wheel screen but doesnt. Does yours?
@thatone_1 what you want it to do should work with Serato.
@thatone_1 With DJay Pro you can turn the round knob beside those two buttons to set how many beats you want to jump when you press them.
@@jersey21212121 i love Djay too much to try on Serato lol Always used Djay with the Rane One. Yeah just was curious if the shift and beat jump worked for you to change the display when using Djay. Def appreciate your help!
Did you hook them up thru USB on the computer or RCA thru the Rane Performer?

I'm using DJay Pro now. They finally added the Rane Performer. It works great especially with stem split when using two external turntables like the Rane 12s. Serato does not work well when using this setup. When activating stem split with DJay Pro the external turntables will Spin and allow you to scratch the instrumental or use the Performer platters for scratching vocals. That's how it should work when using four channels. I will add a new video later using DJay Pro 😊

Each channel has a separate gain that I have set at 10 o'clock away from the center with is 12 o'clock. This is a analog recording I'm just holding my cell phone when I made this video and couldn't tell the difference maybe it's the tracks that I'm playing. I know the Rane 12s is not part of the Rane Performer and for that reason if I noticed a difference in volume next time I operate the unit I will increase the gain on the Rane 12s.

If u hold down the traction control button for 7-8 seconds it fully disables TC and stabilitrak untill u either turn off the car or press the button again my Camaro did the same thing when I tried to do a burnout and it’s a manual so u can imagine how that went but now she spins up good

Virtual dj is the best for sure I was blown away when I first used it. Traktor is amazing too especially if you like to scratch. Serato would honestly be last for me

I wanted to see how they look with the seventy two. I got the twelves and can’t play records on ‘em so this looks pretty clean to swap out for some vinyl time. Nice setup. Enjoy that seventy two.
Have you tried stems with steaming software. I tried only using MacBook Air m2 and it wasn’t great.
I use stems all the time with beatsource and tidal sounds okay with Serato but the cleanest sounding stems will be Virtual DJ

It's a Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming PC Intel i7 11th Gen. I also had the same mixer but when they came out with the Pioneer S11 mixer I upgraded from the Rane 72 mk2 mixer because it came with Scratch Bank. Later on Rane came out with the update for Scratch Bank. Rane still a good mixer I wouldn't mind having both.
What laptop you have?
A Gaming Laptop by Lenovo. Legion 5 Intel i7-11800H 2.3GHz RAM:16GB Storage 1TB SSD GPU: TRX3060 Windows 11 Keyboard lights up with a cool color pattern.
Do U use the pads on the rp8000 a lot? Im doubting to buy that or rp7000 with reloop elite or 72 mk2 … both have enough pads, I think?
I'm sorry I no longer own that setup. I currently own the Pioneer S11 with two Rane 12 MK2 Turntables. I can tell you I love this setup much better. Faster pad response and maybe it's my upgraded laptop but I cannot tell you for sure because I don't have the Reloops to test them again.
Your breaking your differential that’s why both wheel aren’t spinning.

@@jersey21212121 Werd Alex.. glad you have a good head on your shoulders..I kinda figured that was hoping.. might be hard to explain on text..but hope you get it and maybe review to see yourself doing it..and that many times helps correct it. It's a simple mistake..something you'll totally correct easily. And I hear ya.. that happened to me this past year.. Set up my new Rane 72 ..got it all ready then got swamped with work.. took a year to 'get back' to where I was LOL Funky times man !!! Peace

@2:50 - is Billie Jean being played in a sample bank..why aren't we seeing it tracking in Serato on the right?
On the Pioneer S11 I was in the mashup setting on the touch screen and moved Billie Jean track to deck 3.
This makes sense so you don’t sacrifice cue points
Yes not having to switch back-and-forth makes it better. You can hit your Cue point and stem at the same time.
@@jersey21212121 yea I think that’s critical for mixing correctly without sacrifice. Or just use your laptop 💻
I have the S11 paired with the XP2... Not too much use before stems... Also you can use dual pad mode on the S11 but you only get your first 4 hot cues

Did your s11 show up as an audio capture device on OBS?
Yes the S11 will show up as a audio interface capture on OBS as long as you have it set to the default sound device under sound properties on your computer.
