Do not trust, companies, agents and individuals to buy land from because purchasing land in the Gambia is like the wild wild west. To not purchase land without a solicitor and don't put any money down as a deposit until you see the papers are legit by a lawyer. If you are from America there is a growing American community in the Gambia. Get some advice thier. The government has recently reduced the amount of land the diaspora can buy. They have to return home with thier taild between thier legs after being defrauded out thier hard earned money. Gambia is a nice place but you have to deal with the coruption. It's really bad.
