I'm so glad you pointed this out.Before I would focus on throat and chest, sometimes belting and get a weak voice sound. With this method the lower muscles, below the b-button are the bottom support and are potentially very strong as.Your belly kinda comes out when you use them but that's ok. What can you do to strengthen those specific muscles besides the F thing? I think that was to make your point and discover 'which' muscles but what about belly exercises to strengthen them?Thanks!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I watched another video, and she was standing up. The way you did in a laying down position, it REALLY helped ME to expand while breathing in. See, I have sung since I was 14, & I tried a few instruments, but when I found MUSIC,THAT WAS MY PASSION WHICH runs rampid on my dad's side! Reading Music,singing I even have a great great Uncle, his name was Jmmy Donley, It was in the 40's and 50's he had quite a few records actually, the main one is " Born to be a loser." But he produced and worked with fats dominoes and a few other Pee wee Madix, worked for Decca records ,ace records back then it was called, SWAMP ROCK, also some COVER songs by Jerry Lee Lewis! Eventaully SELLING ALL The rights to his songs, to a fraud a conman REVEREND- RAYMOND Charles J, Jessup. Which was later convincted of mail fraud! Anyways I'm saying all that to say this it's in my blood! It's in my soul and it's a gift from God! I was in choir, my entire grade school and beginning of Highschool. I'm proud to say that! Also , I was the only freshman in a 5A district high-school to be in the women's choir! I'm quite proud of that actually! In high school is where I really learned to read music breathing techniques, And all the things that go along with being in in choir and a poised , & exceptional Singer and being a solo singer.. I remember my friends used to ask me for my "autograph ", It was very humbling and I WAS and still am so blessed to use my music as therapy and for others that live to listen to me sing! Very nice to be great at something. My dream was to become a singer! My choir teacher,Mr Odoom advised me That if I continued on the path I was going that I would not only have singing scholarships but also academic. Considering that I had a 3.89 GPA! This was in 1996, and we were blessed because We were being taught buy a man that had done OPERA FAMOUSLY, in chicago preceding his Choir teaching. I thought it was so cool because he did "Phantom of the opera in which he played the piano in this particular opera and musical, that is! And many others, that I just can't remember anymore. Well because of my family structure unfortunately I had to change schools. I did not want to.. So we moved and well. Let's just say, I COULD have taught the choir teacher at this new school. The students didn't even know how to read music. Fast forward I ended up dropping out of high school because of things going on in my home life.😢. But I never quit singing. I ended up Getting married and having my 1st child at 19! So singing took a backseat for a while but I never stopped singing.. Some years later, I got pharyngitis and lost my voice for almost 6 months completely. When I got my voice back. It was like starting all over again ,because pharyngitis is a inflamtion of the larnyx . And when i tried to talk it would cause straim on my vocal chords, SO I TRIED NOT TO TALK TO MUCH, bit my job was a bartender/ server. SO AT FIRST I WORE A LITTLE SIGHN ON ME and then i wapuld talk in my lowest octave. Because of time passing. I forgot a lot of my breathing exercises. So thank you so much. For sharing this with me. I can still sing. It's just that I don't know what my VOCAL my vocal range is anymore . I know I am a soprano still. But sometimes on my high notes. I know I sound pitchy. Anyways thank you so much! This video is exactly what I needed. And I will continue to look for More videos from You. That was not easy

I played two years before this video came out, but it's been a decade since I last touched my violin. I thought my tuning pegs were broken, but I fixed them today. It's gonna be a while till I get back to where I was, but here I am relearning.
