His actual voice is so much better than the vocoder junk. They should drop the vocoder and go with his natural voice
Really wish i could see M.I.A.B. live, been a fan for over a decade. Great footage. I listen to his music all the time, always will be unique and inspiring.
Same. Been a fan over a decade and have yet to see them live, hopefullly they come to the US at some point, MIAB seems to have great live performances. Nobody else has the same vibes and sound as MIAB, the lyrics and story are great, and the vocals bring it all together. Easily S tier. Anyone reading this should check out THYX, their side project, MIAB vibes for the most part, Stefan still killing it with vocals, with less vocoding. it is all excellent.
@@MEATLOAF2able Same here, almost saw them live with Covenant in Belgrade, but the gig was postponed for some reason and in the end Covenant came without them. Thyx first album is a masterpiece, other are good too, but first one is just filled with hits. Also track Gravity is epic! New MIAB album is so good too, next level. Such a unique music, one of a kind in the whole world. My favs from the "scene" are MIAB/Thyx, Seabound/Edge of dawn and Acretongue.
@@petarmaksimovic4048 Covenant are awesome, big fan. Seabound is awesome as well, fav album is speak in storms. If you haven't already, check out Assemblage 23, VNV Nation, and Neuroticfish, they are definitely worth a try. I've never heard of Edge of dawn, or Acretongue, I'll check them out. New MIAB album is excellent yeah, I really like the vocals on "It's so good to see you again". "Drowning in the fire" and "Integrate" are truly excellent songs as well.

In the technology world we refer to firms as disruptors. Entities dislocating other firms and their markets. MIAB is a terror in the aesthetic market as they innovate new sounds and dislodge legacy bands without concern. Poiss's vision is transformative. He has conceptualized not only the identity debate and its response but the meta condition that arises after. After the great MAGA war, where will we ground?
I feel I'd go anywhere just to see them play live! They've been such an incredible part of my healing process! ♥️

I like the live band, but I would prefer a more electronic take on the live stuff as well.
Unfortunately, nothing could be compared with 1996 Lived Wired version of Liquid Separation. Rhys Fulber and Adrian White missing czcams.com/video/MLAMzFJhln0/video.html And Leeb's vocal wasn't nasal and drunk, like nowadays. If somebody will tell me "He's getting old". look at Ronan Harris vocal from VNV Nation

I've been a huge fan for years. But never have seen them live. No words. I always knew their music was called cyberpunk in some circles. But this is just mind blowing. It's its own genre there is no question about that. Something that has to be experienced.
Ive heard futurepop, but as everyone who ever was slapped with that label rejected it

I feel you, outstanding band and sound, live almost better then studio ... there are only a handful guys able to perform live so perfectly unperfectful ... atmospheric, darkish with a clear vision of their sound ... it is a own genre, not future pop, not cyberpunk or retro wave, its mind in a box

One of the best live shows I ever saw (in Montreal)... the closest I can imagine is Pink Floyd. I struggle to find the words.
Very unique music from Stephan Poiss. Impossible to determine exact style and to create something similar. Combinations of these arps, vocoded vocals give an incomparable emotions.
