Roll Cart Tour as an independent shop tech! Loaded with #Toolboxwidgets
This is a tour of my everyday grab and go roll cart, everything I use on a daily basis is in this car so I don’t have to go back to my big box as often. Little all over the place, late on a Wednesday. Hope you enjoy the JSC653! #automotivetechnician #autotech #gripedgetools #mechanic #sts #toolboxwidget #toolboxtour #rollcarttour #matcotools

The Automotive Industry and why it’s dying (my 2 cents)
zhlédnutí 231Před 5 měsíci
This is a subject that has been heavy on my heart recently with a lot of my younger brothers friends wanting to join the Automotive Field, it has its ups and downs and I’ll make a video on that as well but here is some of the reasons I believe the field is dying.

love the koken gear
Sold......sold.......sold!😂
yup they are that good.
Hi, have a couple questions. What are the trays you use to organize your drawers? And do you have any long term opinions on the tool box? Like have you run into any issues? I heavily thinking about getting a used 76” pro series from my cronwell guy and I can’t really find any long term opinions on them.
So the gray organizers are off of Amazon, you can get a ton for like $20 they come in a massive pack. As far as the box goes it’s holding up fantastic. I do wish the hutch was a little bigger and the drawer lay out is meant for cased items. But it still works amazing
@@scantland10 I just got a used pro from my cornwell dealer. I ended up jacking it up and putting on blocks to raise it up cause it was a little short for me lol
That’s nice
Thank you!
Nice cart if you like watching tours i just posted my snap on box
I will check it out!!
/nice setup. Thanks for taking the time to go over it
Thank y’all for taking the time to watch it!
Nice! Keep up the content!
Hopefully have more soon!
Never thought about putting o ring pics in the tool box widget organizers let alone the ratchets Nice gunna try that
They work fantastic for them!
Let's see the big box!! So, what's your favorite tool in that cart?
Soon I will get the big box ready for a good video lol, and that is a hard one. I would have to say the 3/8 stubby impact
Killer review!
Thank you!
What I want to know is how you don’t destroy the Apple Watch lol? Because I really want to wear one to work but it wouldn’t last a day lol Also a mechanic
Dude that’s what I thought too, thing is pretty robust, it’s been covered in transmission fluid I have scratched it but it’s been from hard stuff like the corners of heads or blocks when doing head gaskets
@@scantland10 Appreciate the response! I’ll have to give it a shot then. Thanks!
@@theguywiththefacetatts2900no problem! I would recommend the snap style silicone bands tho, if it does get hung on wiring harness and stuff you can get your hand out as well as they are easier to clean
@@scantland10 oh yeah good thinking! Thanks for the recommendation.
@jacksautorepair lol I already have the iPhone 15. The watch has nothing to do with my jobs at work we have computers for that. But if you must know we use an app called shop monkey and every job I get does go directly to my phone lol. Thanks for your input though.
Yo! my man!!! That cart is sweet!! 🔥🔥
Thank ya man! I finally got the time to record it! Hopefully soon I can update my big box video!
Great setup, Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!!! I’ll have another soon of the big box!
My rep was trying to get me to do the tool grid setup but i’m already 20 rails deep into VIM’s magrails. Love the magrails, not the price.
I have a couple of the mag rails in my big box, they work really well!
My buddy is a Cornwell rep and he was told Orange is an unpopular color for carts. He is having trouble moving it. I found it hard to believe. Oh yeah Cornwell impact wiggles are awesome. I have em in 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4.
I love my Cornwell box but I’m quickly outgrowing it, if I had another rep I would probably look into a platinum but my Marco guy is amazing so I’ll probably end up in a 6s
@@scantland10 Funny thing. After watching, I went onto FB marketplace and found a cornwell pro series slide top in orange for six hundred. Going to pick it up tomorrow morning.
@@joshbrown1381I found a orange power bank on FB market place but it was gone before I got there
I m gonna get those next I just got the 3/8 z series ratchets and and some z series sockets I love them so far
They are by far my favorite!
It's low tooth count. This is good for what you are doing, and bad when you can't rotate the ratchet enough to engage the teeth. Everything is a trade off. Yes, a pro mechanic may want both a 90 tooth and a low drag 36 tooth ratchet.
These are 72 tooth, it’s just how the paw design is that makes it such low back drag
@@scantland10true my 36 tooth zeal has still no back drag but my regular koken 24 teeth is more smooth than snap on
Koken is the best i tell people all the time
It is my number one grab every single day
This video has given me a lot to think about when it comes to the automotive industry. Job security for the old timers who don't share what they know and new technologies that are in use that the old fellas aren't familiar with because it's so new. Thanks for making this video, it really helps me wrap my mind around this industry that my brother was in for twenty years. I look forward to more videos.
It’s a very rewarding field after you get the grasp on the basics, but it has its hardships that a lot of other techs need to know because sometimes it’s our attitudes that get rid of the new guys and apprentices. Everyday is a new learning experience. It’s not for everyone but it truly is one of the most rewarding careers
💔 'promo sm'
Super nice !
Great toolbox
Thank you!
Can’t wait for the series!
When you don't know how to put your car back together 😂
He'll yeah, that will work!
Those look clutch!
You need some my guy!
Where can I get 5 of these? I must have them.
Boltster.com or look up boltster on amazon! They are awesome have had the little blue one for over a year now!
That’s an awesome organizer!!!
I own almost 400 ratchets, 50 different brands and the Koken Z series by far are the most silky smooth low backdrag ratchets ive ever used
Dude I love mine, I have had it for about 6 months now and wanted to truly use it daily before I started to show it off, and this thing has set the bar really high
Dude nice, looked loose as hell and it still got it without skipping backwards
Nice box. GBO!!!
I love it lol, starting to run outta room
How much did you pay for the box?
I got it on a deal paid 4K cash for it
@@scantland10 I got mine for 4k too
@@scantland10 I just couldn’t pass it up
That’s how I was, I bought it brand new and ordered it
New Cornwell box looks great my Cornwell guy can’t remember who I am when I call him for orders. After spending 2 G’s in tools and not the cheap Chinese stuff either. Also a roll cart that i took off him as scratch and dent. Na he just can’t place me anymore. Lol true story. I order from the tool truck website these days the truck guys always act like they have something better to do when dealing with you anyway. I just can’t call that customer service.
I really like my box but I have ran into the same issue. Our cornwell truck has went under so I struggle getting tools warrantied so I hope the box holds up really good! I’m sorry man that sucks! I’m lucky and have a couple of great people that run the trucks around here but I have been there a couple years ago with old dealers
If you wanna sell some socket rails in the drawer lmk
I’ll keep ya posted lol
All funny until it goes launching out of your hands and hits something 😂
Fun fidget spinner tho
The fuck hahah first pair of pliers huh? Been resetting channel locks and Knipex and all others like that for years
I have a ton of Knipex pliers and none of them do this lol, all of mine have the lock mechanism (push and slide), yes they all do it even the cheap harbor freight ones but not as smooth from my experience
I hope youre only a mechanic for yourself, and not a shop mechanic for personal or critical vehicles, because if youve just figured this out, man, wait until you hear about length sliced bread. 😮
I truly made the video for new kids getting into this trade that didn’t know, I have been in this career a while, still learning everyday but I also like to show the younger kids and people who havnt been in this career tips that I learned when I first started. Yes I will get hate for saying it and get the “you just found out”. But it’ll alright.
Slow day in the shop today huh . Turned them into a fidget spinner like a 90s mall ninja
Actually yes lol was playing with a pair on the truck and realized they did that
I really like the not so slim drawers, wish my 4S didn’t have so many slim, and more medium size drawers. Clean setup man!
Thank you man! It’s been years in the making! My boss and co-worker have 4S’s and I love the small drawers but I’m with you, they have to many thin ones lol
When did they make 2 handed pliers like that.
When they are new they are so stiff to move around as well as a lot of my others have locking mechanisms so you have to use two hands to adjust them
Great!!!!! Now they'll soon be $500+ Thanks
I truly love the lower end price of them that’s why I bought it, you can beat on it and not feel bad about scratching it up, $200 is a good price lol $500 is pushin it lol
Jesus Christ is returning repent!! Get right with God be fore it’s too late!! Trust God he knows best and he has a plan for your life!! Jesus Christ loves you!!

Very nice setup and tour lots of room👍👍
Thank you!
I think it’s the stubby cousin. The “stubby uncle” would have been hilarious
I can never remember 😂😂 but thing works great!
Love it. I like the how you don’t have any super thin drawers that make it hard to fit just about anything in them. 👍
Thank ya man! I was tech your videos all the time! It’s super nice having all the decent size drawers but is rough all at the same time because you loose that extra drawer lol
What brand are the ratchet holders?
Toolbox widget, I have had them for years they hold up great
Nice box and a nice set setup
Thank you!
I had the same box, nice but didn’t care for the electric locks. With the hutch it wasn’t tall enough
My coworker had to put a lift on his because it was too short,
It is very short, I’m 5’6 and still hit my head everyday.
I liked the mousetrap security system, in that top drawer.....😁
That was one of the first “shop pranks” my boss and them pulled 😂 had it set up in my drawer with a towel on it lol
@@scantland10 that is a VERY nice toolbox and setup. You should be very proud !!!
Sick setup!!!!!
Thank you man!
