The latest firmware for the Mobius Maxi 4K supports logging the data from the IMU to a .gcsv file to use with Gyroflow. This video is a test of this camera with Gyroflow (default algorithm with 0.3 smoothness). There is a little bit of jello but that should easily be solved by using an ND filter.

Can you tell me the rolling shutter correction value (ms) that you entered in Gyroflow? Is it detected automatically?
It's 33ms. It can be detected automatically by right clicking on the time line and selecting "estimating rolling shutter here". This always gave me 32.99ms so I just use 33ms.
You can also add this value to you lens profile so it will fill the value automatically when you load it. It's advised to always make you own lens profiles with these cheaper cameras because the tolerances in the optics typically aren't very tight.

Looks very smooth. How's the workflow in gyroflow for this camera? Are there a lot of steps to smoothen the footage?
The same for all other non-GoPro cameras: load video file (motion data is detected automatically), choose lens preset for the recording setting you used, add some sync points, or use auto-sync. Then choose your stabilization and export settings and hit Export.
This camera looks good for $99. It would be nice to compare it side by side w firefly x lite.
Very different form factors though. The Mobius is more suitable for planes because it's not a huge airbrake.
How did you eliminate the rolling shutter? Is it also with gyroflow or just some fix in Adobe Premiere?
Yes, the rolling shutter correction is also a feature of Gyroflow.

@@avsaase Built-in gyro? That's amazing! So you basically need to use GyroFlow software to fix the shake. Could you make a video about the process? Your videos look seriously great with such stabilization fix.

Gyroflow is software to stabilize video using gyro data. Mobius recent updated their firmware so that it writes the data from the onboard gyro to a .gcsv file which Gyroflow can read. You can find more info about the software here: gyroflow.xyz/

Gyroflow really has made such a big difference to the viability of RCO5. Nice flight.
I hope they do a V2 with improved gyro data. It's quite finicky to get a good result out of this camera.
@@avsaase My wish is a 4k 4:3 native shooting mode. Gyro data is still not as good as a gopro, but it's also half the weight. I've got good results without to much trouble, but its never going to be cinematic film level good.
@@dc-fpv1801 the 4K XV setting captures the full 4:3 sensor and Gyroflow can now correct for the squished frame so there is no pre-processing needed.

@@dc-fpv1801 I'm not sure if it's in rc5 but you can download the latest def build and then there should be a lens profile. Or you can nake one yourself with horizontal input stretch set to 0.75
