How do you skip the starting cutscenes?
I think it’s O (B on Xbox) . Out of muscle memory I just spam O and X to skip
do you think it could be worth to pick up the return to city chant? you would probably take a bit longer on the path towards the palace of embroideries, but you'd make each trip back to the city much faster and you'd have more fervour in mother of mothers to get out of tricky situations. of course, you'd also add a little bit of menuing to equip/unequip the chant...
Hmm, if you pick it up it’d be more beneficial to do the sand area first. You’d skip out on waiting for the sand to drain and running to die to spikes. Also circumvents dying in the palace and running down to take the teleporter. Its definitely faster in theory.

In your opinion, what weapon has the best DPS? Also, are spikes and falls still insta-kills? I can't quite tell.
Best dps is probably the wrecking ball thing. It charges with fervor and not it’s own separate thing so it charges fast. The regular sword is probably the best if you want big damage but don’t want a slow giant weapon. But i highly recommend the duo swords. It incentivizes a fast pace, hitless playstyle to keep electricity on your weapons while your parry sends you flying across the fight. Nah they aren’t insta-kill anymore, much needed change. They still do a good amount of damage but they send you back to where you fell from.

@@sekiden_souls1212 oh word, what it is? Now that I think ab it compared to the sword parry it definitely felt less consistent.
@@zoxame6096 yepp its a bug for me it's most of the time after you parry with dagger the counter attack will not hit
Spikepits aren’t insta-kills anymore. They take about half of your basic healthbar. If you jump in a spikepit and survive, you unlock the trophy/achievment, ”Welcome Back”

How did you skip the Big Bot? Unrelated; i just completed a melee playthrough, and it seemed like the berserker mod/class had a passive movement speed buff. I may be crazy, and even if it does, it may not be worth the hassle to get. Nice run, regardless!
Unironically you just walk past it. I can’t recall if this was an option on my first run, but for all my speed runs on Original and Explorer you can just walk past him (I’d play it safe and go fast) and skip the fight. Even though I’ve done a good amount of runs I have no clue what the berserker mod/class is LMAO, you think you can explain that? And thanks I appreciate it!
I can't believe you can just stroll by it! As for the Berserker class, it is acquired by equipping the mod that is dropped by the optional boss in the junkpit, the one right before the sword. I could be crazy, as i can't find any data to support this, but it felt like having it equipped also increased movement speed, on top of the other mod that also increases movespeed. Good luck with the runs regardless!
thanks for posting this, I was having doubts about my route for the achievement too since I tend to miss some jumps.
No problem bro, the achievement is generous with timing especially if you run on Explorer which I highly recommend. As long you minimize deaths and stay on route not getting distracted by items or enemies you should get it comfortably.
Again, great run! I definitely picked up some tips here myself. Sub hour might be tight on Explorer, would definitely be tough on Original difficulty! Thank you for uploading ^v^
Yea the more I run the more I realize saving these 10 minutes might be more demanding than I thought. Original is for sure really difficult, might run that after getting a strong time in explorer. Thanks for watching!

I think that she won’t spawn at 30:35 when you have a ship part (atleast the first time) because there are so many enemies. At 34:15 tho she can spawn like how she did for me, or when you get the ship part and walk back through. LMAOOO 40:00 was a straight misplay because I forgot you don’t fight Henriette again so no need to save😅
turns out I was wrong about my Dolly assumption. I'm my new PB she didn't spawn when I was delivering the yellow part or at the 30:35 spot, but when I was delivering the red part. Doesn't seem to be consistences or a way to control it.

Yea move to ps4. I always understand my mistakes I just don't think smart when I play. I'm trying to get better at that. They protected the vesper so I banned extended mags.
