Good morning Mark. I’ve just looked at my copy of the vinyl. Loving you. bought it about three years ago at a flea market here in Berlin. On the cover top right it says. Stereo electronically reprocessed. Bottom right. Printed in USA. A price sticker on back. $2.35, LSP -1515 (e) . Bottom 1957. As you know the US. Army was stationed here in Berlin until 1994. Anything that says it is electronically reprocessed stereo will never be an original release. The sleeve is not a good way to try and date a release, it's the label that always holds the key, it's effectively the fingerprint if you like

Cadillac Elvis - what a great LP cover!! I doubt if I will find it Down Under, but I'll sure keep an eye out for it. Same with the European imports. You fans over there are so lucky, we don't get much of those at all, sigh....

The 'Cadillac Elvis' is a nice boot... produced in the style of a radioshow, songs mixed with interviews, in quality from good to poor... but very interesting! About the "Mickey mouse march", it's a show live piece he sometimes did in 1975/1976 (Vegas/Tahoe)... you have a reprint, the original pressing was on pink vinyl. I even have a third Dutch pressing, it still remains an interesting album!

Another interesting vinyl haul there, Mark. I just noticed that a French seller on discogs has a cassette version of "Programme Plus Volume 3" going for €99.99. Good luck with getting that asking price!!

Great finds. I love the image on The Complete bonus songs I have this image on a LP called Romantic Elvis catalog number RCA 1000 PL 45 118 it was part of a double album which you got free if you bought Romantic Elvis and you get Rockin Elvis The Sixties for free.

Thank you for sharing your collection. I cannot pronounce discogs. I found out I had a Elvis mono cd with the catalogue number ND81515 but on the copy I have it does not say whether it is mono or stereo. I found out via discogs.

Hi Mark. A great collection. I don’t have many original albums. Most of them are reissued. There are some good songs on them all. Hard to pick out a favorite album. My favorite movies are . Jailhouse rock. king Greole. G.I blues. Blue Hawaii . Change of habit. Love his hair style in this movie.

King Creole looks original to me, but I need to see the label, too 👍

Hi Mark another great review I have all of these on ftd single CD I will admit that some of the soundtracks were really cheesy and some were good I agree with stay away Joe not his best movie I love girl happy and I love the soundtrack to kid galahad

The albums, from Blue Hawaii onwards, were released in Mono and Stereo versions. RD is mono, SF is stereo. The earlier albums are harder to find in stereo as most people had mono players. Later albums harder in mono s most people had bought stereo players. Your Harem Holiday is first pressing at RCA got the song title Mirago wrong. Later they corrected it to Mirage.

To know if you have an original issue you need to check the record label. RCA would sometimes use old covers for reissues.

The Girl Happy is French. Their reissue covers have RCA in large letters at the top corner.

There is a Tickle Me volume 2 EP as well. Same cover but just adds vol.2

The Blue Hawaii is Italian. The Jailhouse Rock isn’t a Bootleg, it’s the South African release.

So Mark, I did play this record, it really sound wierd. I found concert of this Donny and when is He singing American trilogy, right behind him is two picture of him (ETA Donny), one of them is from this Elvis album front cover! I Will return this LP, just can not live with this issue of ETA in front cover. I wrote to Graceland already, they have the Rights, they are Very couriou about this issue. You are Very right that this is not Elvis. Thank you.

Mark. I have this album, still did not opened. I can not believe, this is not picture of Elvis! Do they joke? I bought it in normal shop. How is this possible...really looks like some fake. Elvis has nice body, this one is short with big bum...Actually I read this before I bought it, and I did not believe it, plus this shoes looks like from Wood and I can see even something like fingers on right feet. Yeah, this is not definitely Elvis. But now we all have nice fake Eta on picture, Hope that at least Elvis singing...must open it tomorrow.. You say that is not even playing well?

Hello MARK hope all is well, you have some great ELVIS finds. Wish I had some great ELVIS record shops where i live here in the states, I buy most of my ELVIS music and other artist from online.

I have the original (Australian) pressing of the first LP, a CD of Elvis Country, and so many variations of Golden Greats I forget what I've got! I was on a live chat with three other CZcamsr fans last week who like you have multiple versions of Elvis LPs, and I asked them if their goal is to own every Elvis LP that has ever been released in the world, and they all said no, that would be impossible! I try to limit myself to buying records that I don't already have, such as outtakes, but then I see something I have but in a different cover, so I'll get it if it is a reasonable price. I'm going to a record fair this Sunday, with a list of LPs (originals that were released while Elvis was alive) that I don't have, and will try to limit myself to those if I find them. But if an interesting gatefold or Japanese LP turns up....$$$$$$$$$$
