Steady Body is literally S tier and anyone who disagrees is bad at the game 😂 you cant even utilize another of the best charms in the game (quick slash) effectively without it

I like it, but I only use it in the arena for the aerial bugs when they got spikes on the floor. It seems like something I could live without and that I’d rather use my notches on something else that would make more of a difference. I only just got the first ending I guess and I ain’t watching any videos yet so maybe it will become useful to me later on.

And with marmu you only stay in a corner and just hit, this charm is awesome

idk bro, i thougth it was crucial for the game but since i learned how to play whitout it i noticed its pretty easy to replace it whit some skill and using that notch for something better.

Step 1: remove steady body. Step 2: move forward the same amount you knock yourself back each hit to simulate not moving at all, AKA having steady body. Step 3: replace steady body with some other charm that actually helps.

He truly has no soul

Traiter lord is DEMOLISHED with this charm. You could literally equip nothing else and still trivialise this boss with sharp shadow.

Its also useful against primal aspids or any other ranged enemy. Hit once, run, hit again. And it makes projectiles easy to dodge by having them be farther away.(creates more space to move)

Can you make a case for dreamsheild? I feel it useful as a passive damage...thingy.

Bro, I LOVE Sharp Shadow! Legit my favorite charm, only being tied with Dashmaster. Speaking of, it's awesome how sharp shadow damage actually gets BOOSTED by dashmaster.

Most bosses aren’t so easy to knock back so it’s not always op

Longer shade cloak is all i wanted but the 1x nail damage makes that charm too good

Well, none of the bosses shown is hard. And gameplay against obblobles and sly is exactly the same without this charm. For all my 300 hours in this game, I have never used this charm seriously in a fight. It is not bad, just another way to play the game that I do not like and do not need. But everyone has their own ways

For bosses, I like the charm combination: mark of pride,steady body,quick slash,sprint master,and dash master.

I'm embarrassed to say that this video is literally how I found out that dream nailing enemies could give you soul.

I've always felt like there should've been an alternate option for an auto soul generating charm, since the kingsoul is literally made to get replaced by void heart, anyway.

Damn. After two years of this video, I reinstalled my Hollow Knight and played from the beginning again. I personally never used Steady Body, because I move around a lot and I like to be careful. But seeing as this video came up in my recommended again, I think it's a sign. I'll combine Quick and Steady as soon as I get them.

Almost better than wayward compass

Every time I equipped fury of the fallen I felt stronger even at max hp.. boy was I suprised when I realised it only worked at 1 mask

i made a new save with stalwart shell and compass only and I beat the hollow knight

once i did pure vessel 3 times in a row with Steady Body in my build.

Lemme guess, Steady body, heavy blow, long nail, mark of pride (overcharmed) or maybe without long nail and its just mark of pride

Other than the gameplay benefits, I feel like steady body fits the knight's character so well. Just an unbothered, Unfazed, Undaunted and emotionless piece of void slaughtering the whole hallownest.

It's good against most bosses... that are capable of taking knockback.
