That is by far the saddest death, in all of Marvel. It absolutely destroys me, every time I see it. Just the music, tears me to little pieces.

Sometimes it freezes my shadow. That means it freezes me, it stops my movements and that implicates my shadow. However I do not refer to it directly. It is not me that is frozen but only my shadow. I say it in that manner for having myself frozen would be too scary. I feel like this is what that part of the song says, it refers to life's hardships and a subconscious protection mechanism that very subtly manifests. In a way, this is similar to how Ivan Ilith faces his own death in Tolstoi's famous book. I hope this makes some sense. I do feel like like I've failed to properly do it tho.
