This is some awesome shit. Love practicing this song when I'm trying to work on my hand independence. That little upbeat portion at the end of the intro pattern always throws me off. Plus the whole groove being centered around triplets is great fun.

I remember it was such a fun revelation when it clicked that this pattern was consistently Kick-HiHat-Snare throughout and that it was even spaced in such a way that the slightly tighter groupings of snares expand as it goes: first 2, then 3, then 4. I can only kind of play it at this point, but at least I sort of understand it. What the hell time signature is this even in? During the part with vocals I can almost feel a 7/4 or something, but once the synth bass comes in after that it totally throws me off. Other sections appear to be in 4/4, maybe? Kudos on the great cover! Definitely subbing and coming back tot his video when I try to learn this song again!
