Blender first module showcase
Kept you waiting, huh?
I've been learning Blender, and over the last few months, I've made some neat little models, which I wanted to show off. This is the first of about eight modules I've set for myself, and features basic household items which I think could be commonly used in a scene, or are just kinda neat on their own. I'm particularly proud of the wine bottle and the plug.
This took about a week to render. God help my poor little 4060.

Most heinous title I've ever made I swear to god. This was one of the quicker, dirtier ones I've done to get me back in the swing of things. This was going to be a different thing altogether, but then I remembered that this scene is great and I simply HAD to. Next week, something short and simple, too. Audio from Dune part 2.

somethingsomethingsomethingsomethingmakeup This was fun to make, and the scoutling was a dumb idea I had halfway through. Didn't necessarily want this to be some kind of super detailed masterpiece, but I'm pretty pleased with the breathing animation I made for this. Next week, some dry, boring pose transition and animation practice. Gotta do the boring stuff every now and then.

Ah, yes, there it is. I was wondering when the Source Spaghetti would come together and make it horrendous. Despite the frankly horrifying arm glitch, I'm quite proud of this one. I'm really proud of the little helmet bounce when Soldier says "Mansley" Audio from The Iron Giant, in case anyone didn't know.

Things I learned in this video: the rock should have been rolling way slower, and that I must not fear shoulder control groups, for free-rotate exists, and so does ctrl-Z. Going to do some messing around in Blender next just for a change, but I should be able to make another video by the end of next week.

Lighting a scene properly is at least as important as the modeling. Ambient lighting and directional lighting are important skills.
His movements need to be "bigger," more exaggerated, and maybe with a shorter frame time; other than that, not bad :3
