Castell Y Bere is in a remote place even today in a world of technology.I know the sea was closer to the Castle in the 13th century.I would imagine the terrain was very difficult in those far gone days.Forests marshland and wild animals.Wales held out for a very long period because travel and control was almost impossible to an invading army without any modern organisation.This Castle relied on this and it's position on the outcrop it stands on.I hoping to visit it again soon.🏰

Thank you for this. In the US, I had never heard of these people until today. I think with all we know now, I'd rather be queen of Eton Hall (like that Emily) or something like that than of England. i know this road well and every time there is any appreciable rain large puddles appear on each side for mile after mile. Then, instead of unblocking the drains the authorities come along and put out signs saying "Flood". Doesn`t it occur to them that long term this is a lazy and expensive way of dealing with the situation?
