Advances in tissue engineering, bioprinting, and body-on-a-chip technologies
An update for regenerative medicine workforce development
Technologies in regenerative medicine are developing rapidly, leading to advanced diagnostics and therapies. Tissue engineering, bioprinting, and body-on-a-chip technologies are a few of these technologies.
This webinar, sponsored by the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Regen Med Development Organization, and Stem Cells Portal, provides an update on these technologies and how they will shape the work of skilled technical graduates in the future.
Objectives
Participants will increase their knowledge of the current status and future direction of the three featured regenerative medicine technologies.
Participants will be able to identify the connections between their current curriculum and the developing technologies in regenerative medicine and assess potential curriculum changes needed for the future.
Participants will be able to articulate to students and colleagues these developments in regenerative medicine and to assess the potential impact of these technologies, and/or processes.
Speakers
Tracy L. Criswell, PhD, Associate Professor, WFIRM - Tissue Engineering and Regeneration
Sean V. Murphy, PhD, Associate Professor, WFIRM - Bioprinting
Thomas D. Shupe, PhD, Associate Professor, WFIRM - Body-on-a-Chip
Gary Martin Green, Chief Workforce Development Officer, WFIRM - Moderator
Faculty and academic leaders at community colleges and university bioscience programs that train bioscience technicians are invited to attend this webinar to learn more about what developments to share with your students.
This webinar is hosted by the RegenMed Development Organization (ReMDO), Stem Cells Portal, Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), and supported by the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education Program and Bank of America.

Love Tyrus. It takes a great logical and down to earth presence to buffer Gutfeld’s cringe factor. Glad he’s getting out of professional wrestling before an injury occurred that could have robbed him of the fullness of health that he enjoys now and the ability to be there for his family as a strong dad and husband , physically, mentally and spiritually. Ha a great time fellowshipping with your college friends.

This is really helpful, I am reaching out to as we have received a request from a hospital to provide consultancy to set up a Phase I unit in a hospital that is specialized in Oncology in, it is one of the best comprehensive cancer centers in the which treats both adult and pediatric patients. The consultant would have to provide expert consultation/conduct gap analysis on the set up requirements. To reiterate this request is more about the technicalities of setting up the unit rather than clinical research services. Pls could you let us know if you would able to support with advise on this consultancy & if yes we would like to kindly request your contact details and email address.

The first step of the reaction involves the oxidation of isocitrate to the intermediate oxalosuccinate. The second step of the reaction looses the beta-carboxylate of the oxalosuccinate intermediate as carbon dioxide leaving alpha-ketogluterate. During the catalyzation of isocitrate to alpha ketoglutarate either NADH or NADPH is produced along with carbon dioxide.www.bocsci.com/tag/isocitrate-dehydrogenase-idh-216.html
