25 miles to empty is scary lol i remember when l was hauling a 7x14 foot cargo trailer up the mountains near Kamloops and by the time i almost got to the top i had double digits for my range. Started with a full tank of premium too. Love V8s but they drink like a sailor.
45 is crazy, with mine I could probably get 40 riding the limiter, but I dont like riding the limiter
Yes, we have four of these machines and they all top out about the same, although the 250X goes a little higher top end.
If oil level is at the add mark on the dipstick, how much oil is needed to bring it full?
That, I don't know the answer to. I just add a little at a time until it reaches the top. Sorry I can't give you a better answer!

Great! I love them. No complaints and I'm glad I put them on. Note, they fit well on my yellow 2007 Recon. On my green 2007 Recon they rub the fender brace at high speed. There is a small difference in tire clearance between the two machines. But I am running this same tire now in a 22" diameter on my green Recon and I love it.

Yes, it will work, especially if he’s learning. However, if he takes to it quickly, in one year you may both be wishing you’d gone straight for the CRF250F.

Hi Paul! I have 28" tires on the machine. Love them. I published a video about the wheels/tires and lots of other videos about the clearance, etc. I even showed people that we have a discount code with SUNF tires where you can save 5% on your entire tire oder on Sunf.com. Did you notice much difference in the power performances and the clutch thinking of going 29s my self
I didn’t notice any difference and we didn’t have any issue with the stock clutch with the 29s. I didn’t want to go with 30s because it seemed like people had clutch problems with 30s or bigger.

No. Going up from 29 to 30 we didn’t do anything with the clutch and you shouldn’t need to.
