can someone please explain to me around the first 10-13 mins how he mentions that he was climbing a difficult rocky route and did a free solo, and then mentions that it would have been easier to set up a belay. I don't understand how he could set up a belay, don't you have to climb it first? or does he mean have a second person belaying as he climbs up, like with lead climbing? thank you
