21:40 best cam ever
And then Murray straight setted him in the final and showed him whatâs what.
En el tercer set, 6 a 5, ventaja Novak le marcan una mala que cayĂł dentro y se empataba a 6 y hubieran jugado tie break
Federer played average in this match and still won in 4, should have won in straights. So many unforced errors and 2nd serves in closeout games.
Novak enjoyed weak era once federer past prime
I miss these days. Blessed to see these two greats compete.
25:37 Bangs a 139 mph serve, only to get broken by a double fault Similar to what happened with Fed the next match against Djoko serving for the match
I've always seen this match as the mid point in their rivarly and the point when they were most even. Before this Fed won most of their big matches, after this Djoko won most of their big matches.
Djokovic was a little more consistent and played better on defense.
Lol! Federer couldn't make a return of serve even if his life depended on it!
Surely one of the best straight set matches in history?!
Thank you.
I wish you would tell us if this is the semifinal/quarterfinal or whatever.
Thank you, just liked and subscribed. :)
Thanks for the support!
Such a weird match/ending. Djokovic seemed quite obv better but choked hard.
Had davydenko won this, he probably would have won the final.
Versus prime Nadal ? No way
@F1ClassicCars he gave nadal alot of trouble. Also 2007 isn't prime nadal. 2010-2013 were his absolute peak.
Djokovic-Alcaraz final posting soon?
Del Potro stopped moving after the second set
The fact that 99% of people would rather play like Federer over Fakesurgeryovic tells us who's the most complete player ever
One of the few matches where I really thought Djokovic played better all around, especially around the end of the match, but Federer won the match by being more clutch. Usually it is the reverse, Federer tends to play even or better than Djokovic until he loses in critical moments towards the end of match.
Courts were good and fast back then. Later they changed it to suit baseline grinders like Nadal and Djoko
ThisâŠis not true. You will find many fans saying the exact same thing throughout the 2000s. In fact, 2010 was one of the worst culprits of this (a clay courter won Wimbledon, US Open). I donât think thereâs any evidence courts were faster back thenâŠin fact thereâs actually evidence for the opposite. UTS data shows that the AO, Wimbledon and French open all got faster in the 2010s than from 2003-2010. And the US Open remained the same. So I really, really donât understand where this is coming fromâŠwasnât this the same year Nadal won everything? And a few months after this, Djokovic won everything. So are you implying that the courts all miraculously changed on all surfaces overnight? I see this repeated all the time, but no one seems to even have a clue when, how, or why it happened! It is literally the definition of a myth that has been heard once and repeated without reason.
@@Mark-ut5oq Hold up there is no way ao 2010-12 is faster than in the early 2000`s It got faster in 2016 and 2017 but early 2010s courts were straight up clay court level
@@AlexisNess-mn4zw you donât need to believe me. Check it out for yourself. But I want you to remember one thing: you CANNOT physically see the difference in court speed in television footage, even if you wanted to. Once you understand how frame rate works, and how far the ball travels in that time, youâd understand that itâs basically impossible to tell the difference if the ball spent a few more ms after bouncing. It probably wouldnât even register in a single frame.
Didn't the Roger's Cup already suit baseline grinders back then anyway? Murray beat Fed in the 2010 final and also won here the previous year and Murray was more often than not a baseliner. The 2 years before that in 2008 and 2007 Rafa and Novak won as well, Rafa also in 2005.
bs, Fed just played really good / fast here.
It's very obvious that you hate Djokovic.
This match is so underrated in their rivalry, the ball striking and movement is insane to watch
the ball striking in this match was actually horrific, federer couldn't hit a backhand to save his life in the 3rd set and it was the most cringe thing ive ever seen watching Djokobitch serve
Federer played great no mistakes, Djokovic lacked depth and serve and honestly he didn't look like he believed he was gonna win the match
That shirt is so iconic. One of his best outfits imo
Interesting how Federer managed to hurt Djokovic with his forehand. Forehand didn't hurt Djokovic as much as before, this was the cause of his defeats after 2013
Without a doubt, Federer's forehand is the shot that has lost the most effectiveness over the years.
Djokovic's serve was so different back then

What a difference between 09 Novak and 2011 Novak. He fined tuned his serve, forehand, everything. His shots look loopy and his service motion was terrible here.
What a crazy fast court
Goldenkovic used to let Fakerer win in those times.
More like Fakesurgeryovic couldn't handle prime Federer đđ
God, you guys are so fking toxic. Grow up.
@@initialize21 đ„đbroke Federer in next US Open he hasnât been the same marked the end of the weak era
Reality is Djokovic was never a threat till 2013. If he beat Federer, it was more of an upset. Nadal actually showed how to beat Federer through endless defense, which Djokovic followed suit later on.
@@saratchandradeevi lol đowned Federer still in 2012 whose last GS win was in Wimbledons only a fluke

I see the GOAT, I click (and no, the GOAT certainly isn't Fakesurgeryovic)
Why would he have a fake surgery don't be delusional
man, get a life, I see you in every video where you constantly write the same thing.. djokovic gave you serious complexes

@@kaytae4053 It's questionable because Djokovic claims he got surgery and injured his knee, and yet he wins the Olympics without dropping a set. But yes, this type of fans are toxic asf, coming from a Fed fan.
Federer was a great clay court.player. had the courts not been slowed down I doubt he would have won outside of the french open. But I place him in the same category as jim courier. Great player just paled in comparison to his contemporaries.

Do you have Berdych vs Federer 2010 Rogers Cup?
Itâs comical how people talk about prime Federer as if he wouldâve beat prime Novak or Nadal. All I see here is an even worse backhand, the same shoddy service return, and the same questionable unforced errors. The only reason why this outcome was different was because Novak was a COMPLETE ball basher with zero ability to build a point. His tactical knowledge was nonexistent, but expected for a kid only barely 22 years old when there was no in match coaching allowed. If you transport 2015 Djokovic back here Federer gets absolutely exposed even worse than in 2015, because in the 2010s he was at least forced to modify his game. Fed should consider himself lucky he got a few years in before Nadal and Djokovic hit their prime. His game doesnât match up well.
Great fiction. Endless defense would not have worked on these courts.
well to be fair, fed 2015 beat him in cincy, and that fed was not prime fed.
@@saratchandradeevithese courts?? Please show me some proof these courts were any faster. The only fiction is from Thirderer fans about fast courts. Thirderer fans were complaining about slow courts in 2009 when he lost to Nadal and Del Potro. Itâs just one of their 10000 excuses.

@TvRFReloaded where is it
I remember back in these days people were saying the courts were so slow compared to the 90s, and now theyâre saying itâs slow compared to the 2000s. Funny how that works
When Federer wins the court is fast, when Nadal and Djoko win, the court is slow.
Yup. But when you actually look at the evidence, this is what the UTS (Ultimate Tennis Statistics) data says. It used different metrics to determine surface speed, such as ace rate, rally length, server advantage, etc: 2003-2010 avg: 60 2011-2022 avg: 60 The US Open remained the same over the average of 2003-2010 than it did as the later decade. Interestingly, all 3 other majors sped up. Like most things online, itâs just factually incorrect.
@@Mark-ut5oq I believe that the courts were slowed in the 90's after the 1994 Wimbledon final between sampras and ivanisevic and also Paris Bercy 1993 when Goran was booed after every aces. Nobody wants to watch this kind of tennis anymore especially with the evolution of the material and. However i dont believe thet they really slowed the surface after the 90's
@@richerlouis3391 I donât know if there was a âspecificâ time that happened. The main court speed changes occurs when there is a change in compound, such as after Wimbledon 2000, when they changed it from 70% rye to 100% rye. This altered the bounce and made the grass a lot more consistent. Ever since, Wimbledon has been dominated by baseliners and serve and volley has completely died. Whether thatâs due to surface or a combination of factors will never be known
Also it might sounds complotist but some people believe that Wimbledon was also slowed to increase the chance of Tim Henman to go far in the tournment so idkđ€ â@@Mark-ut5oq

Fed clearly thought he had many more chances for the Gold. I wonder how different the outcome wouldâve been if heâd known the rest of the big 4 would be competing for the next two Olympics he played. I reckon heâd have won this if he knew what was to come
2006 Federer, that cold terminator of a man, would have destroyed Djokavic in every tournament ever in the 2010s, he just didnt care after 2009 like he did when he cried losing to Nadal in the Australian Open.
Federer couldnât even beat Novak that badly in the 2000s. In the 2000s the h2h was like 9-5..and I think a few of those Novak was aged 18 or so. So I really donât understand this line of thinking. To me itâs almost just wishful thinking that your mythical hero is untouchable
Definitely he would have. Instead of stat keeping If you watched the level he was in 06'.
