The Devs did a great job with the feel of this game. There’s also hints that it’s almost a 1984 situation with all the different Ministries.

It takes heavy inspiration from Starship Troopers a 1997 film that was a satirical adaptation of a jingoistic Sci-Fi novel written by Robert A. Heinlein. The dystopia in this is meant to be a satire of the United States during the Cold War and the G. W. Bush Presidency
