SIDEMEN Then And Now | From Their 1st Uploads To Today

Today we are looking back at each member of the Sidemen to see how they started out on CZcams and where the are today !
The Sidemen (formally the Ultimate Sidemen), created on 19 October 2013, are a British CZcams group who have boosted in popularity throughout the past 6 years. They are all good friends, play video games together and have created a commercial brand from their name. The name is an allusion to a term to refer to those who are "behind the scenes" in a group and are much less noticed than the main people. Originally, Simon was a "sideman" to JJ and Tobi was a "sideman" to Josh. From 2018, they have uploaded weekly videos to their group channel under the banner of "Sidemen Sunday". They also have a second channel called MoreSidemen, where they upload compilations, behind the scenes, and weekly videos under the banner of "Sidemen Saturday" or "More Sidemen Saturday".
In 2005, Simon and JJ became friends (aged 12-13). Simon would help him record videos by holding the camera. The two eventually ended up connecting with Zerkaa, who was long-term friends with TBJZL from secondary school. On Josh's 21st birthday, the four were all in a voice hangout and started watching a stream from Behzinga. They then invited him to the group. This group was nicknamed - by Simon - as "The Original Five".
Ethan coined the official name of the group. They started recording and playing GTA together, and then invited Vikkstar123. He was a fit despite not being as invested in FIFA/football as the others - so naturally, he joined the group, as it was an informal group at the time. The Ultimate Sidemen - minus wroetoshaw - officially formed on 19 October 2013.
A few months later, in early 2014, they asked Harry to record with them and he too fit in.
In August 2017, KSI "left" the group (he claimed it was "because of Ethan", triggering events known as the "Sidemen War/Beef") triggering a series of diss tracks and online spats. The majority of the "beef" was fabricated - as JJ and Ethan are still friends - and was deemed by some as a ploy to gain more views/attention. In reality, JJ never left the group and the seven are still together as of now.
In 2018, the Sidemen launched a web television series for CZcams Premium called The Sidemen Show. It premiered in June 2018 to positive reviews and reactions. However, they have downplayed speculation for a second series as it would supposedly be very expensive.

It was exactly the reason why Whoopi initially rejected the idea of a Sister Act 3, saying "It's not Sister Act without them." That hasn't stopped Disney from starting to plan out a script for Sister Act 3.

This movie brings memories about so much fun we had in my family while watching this movie. Mom used to laugh till her eyes teared up. It saddens to know that this cast cannot regroup again. Many moved on and with them my father too. I did watch the movie with my daughter recently and re-lived the joy and happiness.

Thank you Then and Now! Some skip over the major fact that it was two people that created the character of Mary Sister Roberts, as listed in the credits. The vocals were created by myself, not written or dictated by music producers Marc Shaman or Jimmy Vivino. I happily sang for McKenna although she still won't come to terms with it 27 years later. I'm thankfully a part of the cast and can take credit pubically. THANK YOU for including me!

I sure really truly honestly did enjoy sister's act 1 & 2 so very much . When I found out that some of the people who were in it died I felt alot of sympathy for the families and friends,co -workers . The actors and actresses who were wonderful in both movies . May you all rest in peace and may the Angels keep watch over all of you . You are dearly loved,missed by all of your fans . The movies were a super hit to all of the fans ! It's something that can be enjoyed by all . Meaning young and old alike .

Whoopi Goldberg has gone from being one of the most beloved celebrities in the country to one of the most hated. She went from being an caring, giving entertainer with a loving, positive message to a Socialist propagandist that spews lies and doesn’t let facts get in her way. I was happy when she came on The View. Now I’ll never watch it again.
