Good luck on the cardiology exam ‼
Thanks!! Having back to back exams is a first for me in med school, I used to do it all the time in undergrad idk what happened 😭
You're living my dream 🤩
The ECG part or the pancake part 😭
@@LearningMedSchool both 😭😭
Studying ecgs or ekgs gives people who does it heart issues
Every time I read about atrial flutters I skip a beat 😮💨😭
@@LearningMedSchool literally 😭💀🤚🏻

aaa the fish look so cute while eating
I love how they are hiding till the food comes and then they go “blup” and take a nibble
Ur doing amazing. 🎉. 😊❤
Thank you!! I’m trying my best, that’s all we can do! :)
You got this dude :) We believe in you and know that you can do it! 🤗🤗❣❣
I appreciate the kind words! Just because things get hard doesn’t mean they are impossible! 😤
so good to see you back!! missed you (if u want)
Thanks! Good to be back finally, missed you too (if you want)
proud of you omar and thankful to be your friend!
Hey! Eid Mubarak! Hope you are doing well!
Online shopping slaps honestly i only shop in stores for jeans
Free shipping with good return policies is really making me wanna try it more!
Eid mubarak!🎊 I really missed your vlogs. They popped up in my recs while I was studying for the SAAT, and watching them became a habit during my breaks. I’ve finished it and graduated now :) but I’ll still keep watching them lol. I’ve always admired how you manage to balance school and vlogging. Now that school is getting harder maybe a time schedule will help. Trust me everyone struggles at some point but you’ll adapt eventually don’t worry. And If editing and filming are too time consuming, Instagram could be an easier way to share quick updates. Have a great day and enjoy your summer!
Iv been told that insta or tiktok would be good for small short vids but i really like that CZcams stores my videos so when im old i can watch them! Im kinda a boomer with technology so insta and tiktok are hard, ill ask my younger brother haha! I turned monetization off for my channel but apparently there are still ads!! That part is annoying so I like give you guys longer vids! I hope your SAAT test went well! Had to look that exam up ngl 😅
@@LearningMedSchool I agree nothing beats CZcams content, and Thank you for asking i think it went pretty well, Yeah ik no one talks about it often.
May Allah make things easy for you and give you success ❤
iA!
bro you just needed to lock in and that's okay. post whenever; even short community posts will do. good luck <3
I think the shorter ones are good, I just don’t like you guys having to watch ads, I even turned monetization off but apparently they still show up ugh. I have bad focus so locking in was super key! Stopping everything to focus on purely school was tough since I like to do a lot of things, but ultimately necessary since it’s all for nothing if I can’t be a doctor. Hope you are well!
Do u have an Instagram to follow you there to keep up with you or something for when u disappear 😂
I have an insta but it’s not part of my channel and it’s very inactive haha! I think I have like 3 pics on it, I find I get way too distracted with the reels
Welcome back, and Eid Mubarak 🎉
Eid Mubarak I hope you are doing well!
where u been man
I finished a few days ago! Gonna post some videos tonight and more the following days from the footage I made! We ended with pulmonary and man… it’s so complicated!! Hope you are doing and Eid Mubarak!
@@LearningMedSchool Eid mubarak to you too man! I start medschool in 3 weeks so watching your videos have prepared me for the year to come
Hey dude that’s awesome!! If you have any questions please let me know!
If you had some questions I could make a video explaining my thoughts on them
where new video? 😭
😭 I have been getting hit hard with all this cardio and pulmonary!! I have a lot of footage that I plan on uploading but I’m taking a long pause till I get done the bulk of my studying in the coming days!!
@@LearningMedSchool it is okay my brotha, Kill it in your cardio block!!

They definitely not giving yall your degree
At least we’ll know that spirolactone causes gynecomastia 😤
I watched the Dune movie and i didn't really enjoy nor understood the plot, but the quote you showed is just amazing guess ill give it a read
The book goes into a lot more detail so it’s definitely better for understanding!
@@LearningMedSchool Yes! the book always beats the movie
Agreed! You can understand everything the author wants you to know!
Bruh those are same mouses i have. The deathaddder mini has good reviews but i love the basilisk personally. Mainly only play Valorant with it.
The death adder is so light but I’m really liking the basilisk! The g502 was my old mouse but it is very heavy
@@LearningMedSchool The removable weights are very negligible, hardly notice a change.
Yeah even without the weights it’s heavy, leaning towards the basilisk cause of its similar shape to the g502 but lighter and better made

Prioritize self care after an exam! Very important, so glad to know you're doing it :)
My self care= 🛌 🛌 🛌

im more baffled at how you're recording front facing and rear facing at the same time.
My friend told about a Snapchat filter that does it and I took his phone haha!
SA brother!, been watching all your daily Vlogs, and just caught up, gotta say..Interesting series, thanks for continuing to document them. its a truly unique insight into the day-to-day that those "day in a life of a medical school student" can never hope to capture. One question I have is, how much knowledge of future material / classes do you know or have access to in case you wanted to get ahead at the start of the school year. Also I recently graduated with my RN and currently finishing up some pre-recs in Order to take the MCAT and apply, IA. What reccomendations do you have or general advise. Thanks & Goodluck man.
Salam brother! Thanks for watching! I’m a first year and in the beginning they actually made a point NOT to give us any material so we literally couldn’t read ahead 😭 not really sure why :( Once the year started you can generally work about 1.5 to 2 weeks ahead but only when the trimester has STARTED. I also go to a new school (we are the 2nd class ever since it opened) so our curriculum is constantly changing which may be a reason they don’t release it until really late? My advice for MCAT is foundation foundation foundation!! I teach chemistry and the amount of my students who think simply brute force memorizing is the way is too high!! Understanding WHY things happen is so much more important and so much easier to remember than randomly memorizing stuff. For example: you can memorize that in an action potential sodium moves. Or you can understand the sodium MUST come in because the inside of the cell is negative AND there is a higher concentration of sodium outside anyway. It moves in for 2 reasons which is why it comes in so fast, compared to potassium which leaks out slower for the opposite reason. understanding the basic sciences is so pivotal!!
So much interesting topics to be lectured on!
It really is interesting! But I find I get so into the material I don’t learn ALL of it fast enough!!
You got this man, just take it piece by piece!
Thanks! All we can do is “keep swimming” - Dory

omg this is so informative and simple, you earned a new sub

Thanks for sharing! Anyone else get lightheaded/anxious learning about the heart and realizing how easily it could just….stop contracting? 😵💫
With how lazy of a person I am, it’s so wild that my heart is just… working so hard, all the time. If I had my heart’s work ethic maybe I wouldn’t be so behind in school all the time 🤔 😔
:)

Heart murmurs were always memed for being so hard to differentiate! 😮
And it’s true! They are super hard to do in practice, it all sounds the same 😵💫
actually intial stimulation of a cardiac cell take the resting membrane potential of the cell to the positive value and when it hits threshold the voltage gated na+ channels opens depolarize the cell and then ca=+ and k+cahnnels opens simultaneously creating a plateu phase and then ca+ channels close but k+ channels remain opened and k+ leaves the cells bringing back to normal resting membrane potential makingthe the cell more electro negative!!! I was actually writing what i learned wtf
Everything you said it exactly right I was learning this last night since it’s relevant for drugs! What you have is for non pacemaker cardiac myocytes. I think in the video I mention T tubules because in skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle the T tubules are invaginations of the cell membrane and bring depolarization to the inner part of the muscle cell! Otherwise only the outer part of it would depolarize
