Ride of the Week #3 - Frick Park | Pittsburgh, PA
This week, I'm heading to one of my favorite trail combos in one of the best parks in all of Pittsburgh to finally resolve my camera issues. I'll be taking my new DJI Osmo Action 4 and comparing it head-to-head with my old GoPro Hero 9. I think I've finally got a handle on the best settings for the Action 4, and today's video features some fun back-and-forth editing to showcase both cameras. Let me know which one you think won in the comments!

Onza Porcupine White MTB Tire Review | Fashionable But Fragile

Onza's Porcupine White MTB Tires look great on my bike, but they are the first tire I've ever puncture. Hopefully, I can get this one patched up and save myself $80 or so. The $80 Shimano Deore or $82 Shimano SLX Cassettes will last you far longer than the $390 XTR cassette. All of these cassettes have the exact same functionaility, with weight being the only difference between them. The XTR is made up of aluminum, titanium, and steel cogs. Hi, thanks for the video, I have one of these hubs and am about to do my first ever service on it. Can you confirm if the bearings you installed were new or did you clean out the existing ones, regreased and re-used? I have bought myself a bearing puller tool to do the removal instead of using a mallet etc so they might not be damaged as much - thoughts on this method??

@@aussiebg2628 I would use new bearings if your old one’s have any signs of grittiness or play. If they seem good, a regrease would probably be fine. The bearings are quite cheap though and I’d hate to go through all the work of rebuilding without replacing the bearings.

Not only jockey wheels. Look closely to the joints in parallelogram mechanism. It's always been with Shimano that lower grops has less joints made the proper way. This attributes to how much play develops in parallelogram mechanism over time. Deore XT has all (4/4) the joints made proper way. SLX - 3/4, Deore - 2/4, Alivio - 1/4, Acera 0/4. Not sure how it is for 12s groups, but I assume same principle.

The information on shimanos website can be....not the best :) If you checked how much chain slack a shortcage vs longcage 105 derailleur could handle for teeth difference, you will not find an answer. Shimano's website will only tell you the Cassette variation , but if you use a road or gravel crank, that will change the amount of chain slack needed, making the shimano information incorrect.

I miss the old days when mountain bikes had front rings over 40 teeth and some 46 or 48 tooth. That, paired with a 10 or 11 tooth small cog in the rear would let you really rip fast down hills. Nowadays, bikes seem to be really limited on that top end speed capability, due to their restrictive single front ring set ups with low 30s tooth count. You just simply cannot pedal as fast as you once used to be able to. What are we supposed to do?
