Nope, seat slats are 20” and front stretcher is 20”. Temporary spacers are 18.5”. You can see this at 11:52 of video.

Yes, that’s correct. That’s what I’d start with. Should be clear when you print out templates and lay it out. Make sure printer size is 100%. Many of them auto adjust.

Sorry no, I don't remember. I didn't make plans for it. And just did rough sketch before putting it together. I knelt down and just measured where I thought it'd be comfortable. I do remember that the top was at about 10 degrees.

You could use 1x6s for everything except the arms, which are 6.5” wide….or you could adjust the template to make arms a little narrower. Depends on what material you have to work with. I always loved McGyver. Good luck 👍

Yes the arms are 71.12 x 13.97 cm (which is 28 x 5.5 inches)

I’ll have to check. I just started from front seat slat, working towards the back and used drill bit as spacer for seat slats to get a nice consistent look.

I checked and I used a 3/16” drill bit as spacer between seat slats. This leaves about 3/8” between last seat slat and back rest vertical pieces. Hope that helps

That angle is 30 degrees with the 25 1/4” being the long edge. Hope that helps

No, just the templates that you can access through link in the video description. If you make them and follow video, you’ll do great.

The upper and lower stretchers where back slats attach are concaved. It’ll give you a curved back. When you print out templates, you’ll see. I probably made a comment about it in the video too. Good luck!

Sorry for the trouble. I reprinted all the pages out. They are 1x1” squares. Only thing I can think of is when you overlap the pages to line up the 1” squares that is where the issue is. Since half the square is on one page and half is on the next page, they overlap a bit. Since I printed it out, I’ll draw in some alignment triangles that overlap the pages. Then, upload the file again.

I added some alignment triangles on the pdf to help when taping the pages together and reloaded pdf with a new link. My printer did give me the right lengths when I printed it out. Hope that helps. Sorry you were having trouble. I thought the 1" squares would work for people to align the pages. I should have added the triangles before. Good luck.

Is your printer set to 100%? They should be 1” squares. Some printers auto adjust. Let me know if that was it.

Yes, pivot holes are 12.5” up on vertical pieces. If you look at 12:00 on video. Just center them on vertical pieces. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I planed it down to 3/4” thick

I used 1/4” hardboard. You could use 1/2” mdf or plywood. I usually look through my rack and see what I have on hand. Hope that helps.

Depends on type of wood used. I made these out of white oak which exterior doors are sometimes made from. Could use whatever stain you like, but I then spray with Waterlox (modified Tung oil). If you make chairs out of cedar or something that doesn’t take stain well, I just coat with the Waterlox and let wood change to eventual color which can be nice. I’m not a fan of polyurethane. Seems to flake over time. Hope that helps. Oh, and I have made a raised one, but was just modified design but don’t have plans for it. Good luck!

Main leg is 38.5” and the angle is 72 degrees. That front leg meet the long leg 7.25” from floor in its front. If you print it the templates from link in video description, I think that may help to visualize. Hope that helps.
