The old engine is running well! - Cheers Jim
Nice
Thank you
That's a beautiful big Bing - Cheers Jim
Thanks Jim, such a great performer despite its appearance. It’s probably my favourite engine.
That Bowman is running well.
Thanks, it seems to have improved. The gas burner makes for a good steady runs.
I zoned out to the sound of that just as it finished.
They are hypnotic the old twin’s
They always sound great don't they SE3's
My favourite Malins era engine. They never disappoint.
Ah! BING TICKIN!
this is presumably what powers the search engine.
Wouldn’t that be fabulous a steam powered search engine. 😂
Very neat, is it a homemade model steam engine?
Thank you, no it is a German Bing 130/272 from around 1912.
Looking great mate, hope you have lots of fun and steam ups with it, and as always thank you for your unwavering support of our little business.
🙃 'promo sm'
Beautiful Liam. A Bowman is a Bowman, and yours is a beaut 💛
Thanks John, it survives and I’m happy that it does.
Looking good Liam
Thanks so much, tonight will be the turn of the bowman m101.
A lovely engine Liam, running very well. 👍
Thanks John, it’s a charming little thing. I’ve never had one before.
Lovely collection mate 👍

I just got one of these flat base se1 but it needs a petrol tank.Any suggestions
I have made them before but try Tony Green Steam they do replica burners.
worthless f'ing TOY, model trash. Make the damn thing charge a cell phone or something. JUNK
i want one
It’s an amazing engine it was found on Facebook marketplace in a poor state but mostly there. They are out there.
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it.
Superb video Liam, thank you
Our kids need Erector Sets, NOT cell phones..............
Agreed! I try get my kids to engage with tactile things. We enjoy running the Meccano steam models. The Ferris wheel is a firm favourite.
ahhhh, the same team of engineers as the "havahgo" and the "shillberite" lines... next up. inclined track. how far will these intrepid engineers go in the name of speed?
😂 we are personal friends with Will E Eckerslike & Co another stalwart team of half assed engineers.
An excellent build 👍
Thank you, I’m definitely pleased with how this one turned out.
Nicely done mate, good to see you are still tinkering!
Thanks mate, turned out a treat has this. Finally got around to buying a mini torch. Wish I’d bit the bullet and bought one eons ago. Is yours built yet?

Thank you.
A great video and engine build. Thank you.
Thank you for your continued support :)

That's something you don't see every day of the week! Thank you very much
A pleasure John :-) it’s not a real one sadly but my homage to it and Malins.

Thanks John. :) it’s a superb little engine albeit a bit rough.
Lovely engines but this one is my favourite haha biased as I have the same one, long shot but wonder if you may know where to aquire a whistle and blow off valve?
Thank you very much I love this example. As far as replacement parts go you could try Ian at www.mfsteam.com he makes wonderful replica parts.
Totally delightful
It runs well. A nice mod
Thanks :) still a few tweaks needed but it’s getting there
Very nice!
Lovely engines, thanks for taking the time to do a video Liam.
A pleasure for sure. :)
Ian is finishing one of these off for me as I speak.
The MFTwin? I own number 41
@@astravanmk2 Yes, No. 70.
That's a rare beast. Thank you for sharing
No worries, always nice when people enjoy things as much as I do. All the best, Liam
Well, that's not something you see every day of the week! It runs perfectly. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s a lovely old thing.
Is it still running ok ? Pufango
Hi Tony, yes I believe so, it ended up going to a friend.
A lovely engine. Thanks for the video
Wow..a high speed engine for sure...
steamedup2 yes it is a flyer. Forward running only with no reverse makes it super efficient. The added advantage of a chimney saves everything getting showered in oily condensate.
Runs great. A very well preserved example. #mintymeccano
Charles Miller thanks very much, I’m pleased to own it. The paint and the decal is mint on it. I was a bit apprehensive to run it but I’m glad I did.
Thank you mate! It fought me a bit.
