Is Gouvia similar to Sidari, and is the Paradise Hotel near the centre, or is it quite far way. I have also read that there is a steep hill up to this hotel. Thanks

Skala or Sami or Agia?

I was there in 1993, a whole different place it was then,cost around £275 self catering with airtours there was 1 communal swimming pool next to 1 of the night clubs, I do remember taking £300 in drachma for two weeks, partying hard every night, paying for excursions and visiting Kavos one night, it was the equivalent of 30p a bottle in the bars but you could buy one twice the size from a shop next door to the bar for the same price and I even returned home with gifts and cigarettes and spare money, it was so cheap then.

Been going to greek islands all my life..just been to sidari but going to have to visit kassiopi soon it looks stunning , Rhodes first as its booked for September ..just love it all , cant get enough of the lovely islands , friendly locals , great food , beer , coves , beaches , walks , etc , Great video , yamas !

Wish id choose Tenerife saying that my mum is 60+ but she does enjoy some live music acts like elvis or so tribute acts etc but was a last minute choice plus looked quite nice but thought was more lively.but guess we enjoyed some parts of Greece and was abit quieter.
