I grew up on the J5. Only family group that only 1 of them can really sing. I mean the boys in the family and no Jermaine cant sing a lick. All the Debarge can sing great. Jackson 5 dance moves was so tight like the temptations.
No slight intended to all others, but Michael was THE most “light on his feet”. He seemed to be doing his moves in air, literally, like a butterfly hovering over a flower. Few humans are like that. John Travolta (while not nearly as talented a dancer!) is also “light on his feet”. Hell, even great dancers like Donald O’Connor or Gene Kelley weren’t that “light”. I don’t think it can be learned so much as it’s innate (Fred Astaire, too, was “light …”). Whatever, it’s REALLY special! Michael was/is “outta’ this world”! It’s an absolute shame what happened to him, but I like to think that Mike’s @ his real home now & that he’s ultimately happy performing with his peers! Lol, Michael & thank you! 👍🙏

Michael SAW “the robot” being done on the L.A. streets & he was keen on adding it to the Jackson’s show. He worked on it, perfected it, then PERFORMED it, but never felt he did it as well as those guys he first saw in L.A. (Whatta’ perfectionist)! 🙂

Yes, Michael was THE main attraction (he even floated while walking back to join in on the group dance moves). The others had/have talent, but MIKE… he was unreal!!! 👍🙂
Michael Jackson was break dancing before anyone ever knew what breaking was. This is 1974 break dancing came out 7-8 yrs later 1981+82... Mike is the King of pop n lock. Doing the robot before anyone n still can't nobody match or copy his moves perfectly or better..
Michael DID perfect the moves that he saw others doing on the streets of L.A., but don’t forget the real innovators, the street dancers! Michael always noted this whenever he was asked “from WHERE do you get your moves”? Mike ALWAYS gave those dancers their proper credit. A real gentleman, Michael was until the end! RIP MJ. You really made us all happier people! 👍🙏🙂
