Just to clarify, she was not the person brought in by the CHP. That was for another patient.
It's September 3rd, late at night and far into the COVID 19 dem-panic yet this hospital feels the need to have this elderly patient sit outside in the smoke while they bring a portable x-ray machine out to the sally-port to x-ray her torso. My understanding of HIPPA rules says this is not okay, but I could be wrong. It may be HIPPA compliant, but it's not human compliant. Patients often feel vulnerable enough when they go to the hospital. They don't need THIS type of treatment and exposure on top of it all.
A few months ago I was successful in getting them to deploy privacy screens out there, giving them some comfort. Apparently that was too much to ask to continue.

No patient should be treated outdoors. If it's covid they are worried about, they can bring back the big blue tents they had and didn't use a few months ago.
