Try a SHB Extreme. Especially one like Varis EX, with a sprout that doesn't even know what clock spots means and says "lol idc lets just beat him"

You can only get old expansion EX trials, you cannot get current expansion extreme trials in the roulette. This is Hydaelyn normal

If people are willing to learn instead of insta flame you for being mentor its nice XD

@@ShadowSeroZoul yeah hah .. thankfully no bad experiences yet. My bad experiences have been with mentors joining to fill then insta leaving. Pretty sad behaviour. The sprouts have been better (but this is quite common)

For every bad one you get you get at least one good one such as a dungeon at the last boss or even an alliance roulette actively fighting the last boss so you literally have to do nothing but wait 5 minutes for a free clear. But most of the time they are "meh" like someone left at the start of a dungeon because they didn't like THAT dungeon that much or something.

Im very worried about that aswell i feel i screwed up by not going expert grid im out of mu comfort by a lot now. Ofcourse after calm lands i can try to go for yojimbo but still very likely the run dies here or at bevelle cloyster

​@@ShadowSeroZoul I think the best chance you've got now if you want to save this game is to go back a save and grind the desert for levels and steals (you can leave Home at any point). Failing that is to grind the fiends that are on the airship although that won't be anywhere near as effective. Either way, I would seriously recommend stealing bomb cores and customising some fireproof armour to make yourself immune to the flame throwers in Bevelle.

@@clearspira Im first gonna try to see how effective grinding will be on the airship. If i can somehow make it out of this its probably gonna be by doing the airship grind. I am underleveled but ive cleared bigger obstacles in the past. Not blindfolded ofcourse but hey we shall see how long this will take. And if it really doesnt work it in the end i much rather will waste time replaying until this point on Expert grid. Somehow i feel way more comfortable with that and i seem to have more control on which path i want characters to take. but if i can avoid it i will do my damn best to avoid a full reset

The extremes aint that bad honestly and i like teaching people the mechanics if they are open to listening to them

@@ShadowSeroZoul Ramuh EX is the worst. I tried to explain the fight to sprouts for 30 mins ( I joined in progress ). They didnt listen and we didnt see the fight past add phase

@@filthycasualgaming9715 Seriously. Tried it for a while with half an FC group, and no DPS would :ever: listen about attacking the adds, even the mentors. Because, of course, you don't have to attack the adds in unsynced, and what they've done in the past overwrites all human cognition for most endgame FF players.

Its very difficult but im doing pretty decent i think. I hope i can become the first to succesfully do it!

U don't deserve that mount cuz u basically only doing this for that without mentoring anyone, u supposed to continue doing that to teach new ppl but who am I talking to this community is the most lazy u have ever seen they only do stuff for something

To be honest i didnt use trust either i just like learning with randoms but it was like day 4 or something after release

@@ShadowSeroZoul I don't even use trust for learning, that's just a bonus. I use it for the quick queues and because from a story perspective it makes sense to do it with the scions.

I like seeing that actually. Cuz one, it's usually more interesting than being shoved into a regular 90 dungeon just for headcount. Even better if it's one of the newbie killer trials and I join as healer. Two, I genuinely enjoy the challenge and helping people so long as I got time (always take that into consideration with mentor roulette). Ofc that stops being the case if no one reads chat or listens to the advice. In that case we go straight to number 3, you can just leave if it's an actually bad situation. It's a game, take it in stride and assume fun to be had, Mentors don't have to be perfect either and soon your fears will evaporate

Yeah the game still has issues on almosy every day of play but we try to make the best of it
