End of day. Was in the 90s and with a passenger. Still figuring the car out. Very different from AMG. This is my third day driving it on track. Amazing feeling. Just have to get used to it.

Hey Matt, yeah we’d still bench up. Benched up some the same day as video but the water and fog layers were so beautiful I hung out there.
A minor safety suggestion: I see you have a loop tied at the end of your VG rope. Perhaps you always land with VG zero, so it doesn't matter, but if that is hanging down at all, there is a chance it could catch on a bush or something.
Thanks. Yeah I always land full off. Mine full off still leaves too much slack which is why I tied the loop. Should prob just cut it shorter.
I had a loop on the end of my cocoon harness that hooked on a sage brush limb while landing. It acted like at arrester hook on an aircraft carrier. My body stopped and the glider entered an aggressive flare . Fortunately because the rope and bush did not break, it limited the vertical zoom and I just pancaked onto the desert floor in a cloud of dust. Didn't even bend a downtube !
@@lessainsbury8508 hmm. Yeah to be safe I’ll just cut it shorter. Was tripping hazard the way it was which is why I looped it. I feel like the VG is half way to the 1/4 setting instead of full off. Short distance to the first marker and long ways to second marker 🤔

Hi......did you manage to stay aloft (nearer and above the ridge) after the end of that left turn? The wind strength up the slope seemed weak enough.

Thanks. I’m beginning to love the car already. Three days on track. Two with grippy tires. Feeling more confident. 1:33-1:34s. Optimal 1:32s. Looking back it took me 7-9 days in AMG to get same lap times I was getting in my C7Z. All different. I looove my AMG. So planted. Now I have brakes finally sorted I expect faster times and a lot more confidence.
Ya I felt the same way in the 12c. Brakes and the confidence from them is hugely important for us novices!
I didn’t know you have a 600LT. How does it compare to the AMG?
Too early to say. Only my second day at the track with it. Feels amazing. Power to weight very comparable. Much easier on brakes. Got down to 1:32s. Feel like 1:30 will come this season.

Very nice! How loud is the car for Laguna track day? Can it pass a 92dB day or does it need to be a 103dB day to pass sound?
Stays under 103. Take it on 90 db days too just go a second slower.
What was your top speed over turn 1 before braking . Looks quick.
