There's a slight pause after he says "Chillicothe," like he's expecting a laugh. LOL
I think the pause is hoping someone else is from there. love that part.
Interesting
Interesting, I like this recording.
Tiny vehicles..
no kidding. my back would be killing me : )
@@MilitaryHistoryandAviation Lol, don't know about you, but it's time for a Galaxy type star ship.

yep. And advisor for Red Bull air racing for awhile as well
@@MilitaryHistoryandAviation first I heard that.
@@flyerbob124Yea I was surprised too, I was watching one of their races for a few minutes and they showed him with a headset in a control booth. I'm not sure what role he played exactly but I thought that was pretty cool
Yes this is what I wanted to know. If it had an elevator like this.
Puro chupacabras volador. Yo soy más el chupador de chuminos😊
I’ve built a 1/3 scale model of this plane. Flies great, the French got the proportions of this plane right, though the top wing design and some manufacturing issues hurt it.
I think it's a great looking plan
The number 3 plane had a cameo of Farrah Fawcett on the dash after the filming of this episode, if cell phones were around back then you know an image of it would have gone viral. Source: humped it while they were special guests on a Pea Patch.

¡Hola mi amigo!
Here in UK there was a TV show called Thunderbirds in 1960s. Was rebooted with CGI and for the final episode Lee Majors done the voice of Jeff Tracey. There wear vehicles of the International Rescue organisation called Thunderbirds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 piloted by the sons of Jeff Tracey. In the episode of Thunderbird Connection Steve said he always wanted to be a Thunderbird. How true it was many years later

Thank goodness he didn't ride that one all the way down
That is incredible. I had a book with his signature in it for decades.
what happened to that book??
Apparently in this video they are broken on galactron the flame was not working and reptar the flame was not working too well kind of for reptar
No delta break?? awwe
That may have been the show where they had the maintenance issue and had a 20 min delay in the middle of the show getting 7 back up to wrap up the event.
@@MilitaryHistoryandAviation Incredible filming for 24 years ago by the way! I wasn't around during the year 2000 so it's interesting to see what was different about their demonstration.
@@N-L3Thanks. We were sponsored by the local cable tv provider and they brought out a professional crew to air the entire show including lipstick cam footage inside some of the aerobatic pilot's cockpits on two jumbotrons that anchored the sides of our show.Thats why the footage is decent. it was captured in 1 inch beta tape which was pre HD, but probably the best quality you could get back then.
Incredible! Before the glorious feat came out I wondered what audio they used for the Diamond Roll during airshows. Now I know!
Well, it's been pretty much publicized for at least 5 years that this plane was never-EVER officially named anything but "MUSTANG" - it did have an unofficial nickname of "Invader" among the men of the 86th FBG in the 12th AF in the MTO, but that was that. MUSTANG it is, and ALWAYS was. "Apache" was used by writers and reporters who confused it with NAA ads in 1941, before the A-36 was EVEN thought of ... NAA called the aircraft built for the RAF, which the RAF named "Mustang," a kind of "working" or "house name" of "Apache" --- but that all went away before the A-36A contract was finalized in August, 1942.
It's just what it says on the display sign. Couldn't make it up.
My father worked on this very plane many, many times! He was Avionics in his day ❤️ I've been able to go with him to visit this old "acquaintance" of his.
That's awesome! I love when we find someone who worked on the plane or was a pilot. Thanks for sharing
Nothing better than hearing bad rock music when watching an unlimited air race. When will people learn.
There's no sound with this video unfortunately. its b-roll footage from ESPN that initially was used for an overlay of commentary.
Give she back to uk you American thieves and war criminals
Do you know that British Spitfire the avocado says you’ve got she was stolen from the UK I knew those Americans were dirty criminals. It’s lucky we’re not allies no more, and I wish Winston Churchill was fired.
Glad it was preserved
' all americana jetplanes fighters are the best... better put on 2 jetmotors in F-35... not single jetmotor

Was not a Super Corsair.
Yes it was
@@MilitaryHistoryandAviation It was not a factory F2G Corsair. It originally was an F4U (Bu.No. unknown) that had been used as a movie prop. They built a race plane from it.
The P&W R-4360 engine was retrofitted to a previously stock, P&W R-2800 Corsair. So it was a "Super" Corsair, just not a factory F2G.
You never see that anymore. Imagine if 1,2,3,4 came down the line single file, 1 point between them.
