I watched this countless times as a teenager, but it really hits different now that im a mom.

This is still, single handedly one of my most favorite pieces of animation ever. I'm really wishing the full 360 version was out, or a version that shows the boy's timeline. I hate to see that become lost media.

I watch this once or twice a week. Ot moves me 💓 makes me think of my loved one. Beautiful animation 💞

I love coming back to this for big feelings, this short was one of the big inspirations for me before going into the Animation industry. I now lecture in it and run my own national art brand. I owe a lot to pieces like this. Still brings me to tears!

I still love this. All these years later it still gives me chills.

It has been a few years since I last watched it. Tears started welling up within a minute. Such good marriage of animation and score. Makes me cry faster than Violet Evergarden.

I used to watch this on repeat as a kid. The music, the art, the emotion, the animation, all of it. Absolutely beautiful. Enough to make a grown adult cry.

First. I love this animation short. Just wanted to comment that I perceive the girls clumsiness and the boy catching her as a way of saying "I got your back" or support of her dreams over the years. Simply beautiful

This reminds me of the Curios Case of Benjamin Button with them meeting up throughout their life. One of my absolute favorite animations ever ❤

i found this because: 1) i searched on google how to animate a kiss with the camera panning around the characters. 2) i found a black and white GIF image of that gorgeous kiss at timestamp 02:48 to 02:56 on giphy or something. I'm guessing someone reposted it without credit. 3) i've had this gif in my phone for a few weeks now... i cannot take my eyes off it because the artstlye is awesome. but didn't manage to find the artist. until now, that is. 4) I saw another GIF just moments ago, pure coincidence. It takes place AFTER these two characters kiss. timestamp 02:58, the characters are shown FROM THE BACK. .............. I recognized the artstyle immediately from the first GIF i had saved on my phone. thank goodnes I know now who made this gorgeous shortfilm and i can go follow them on social media or whatever. <3 O__O

"CGI is way better than 2D animation." Please do not riddle me with that bullshit. Yes cg is great and presents a more realistic image but 2D animation has this liveliness in every frame drawn that I can't quite express but it possesses this feeling that cgi can't recreate. November 2009 Princess and the frog was our last 2D film from disney...
