We are a heritage preservation company dedicated to reclaiming, renewing, and reviving the legacy of pioneer crafted log homes and timber frame barns constructed in a bygone era of American history. Our focus is on giving these historical structures a new life while preserving the craftsmanship and spirit of the American pioneers who built them.
We Raced Against a Harsh Blizzard to Rescue This Historic Cabin
We found this historic cabin built by Finnish settlers right as it was about to be torn down. The structure was incredible, and we knew we couldn't let it go to waste. The catch? The owner needed a fast solution, and our only chance to get there was during a massive blizzard hitting Minnesota and Wisconsin. After some quick thinking, we decided saving the cabin was worth the risk. So, we headed north, ready to face the blizzard and rescue the cabin from being lost forever.

This Farmer Fired the Amish and Hired Us
zhlédnutí 3,4KPřed 2 lety
When people think of barn deconstruction, two entities usually pop into their heads. The first being "The Barn Wood Builders" and the second being the Amish. You can imagine our surprise when we discovered the mess the Amish left this barn owner. We were hired and the Amish were fired. Will we be able to live up to their well known name?

Thank you for saving it. In this sick economic model of rinse and repeat, this devotion to preservation becomes something almost divine, it is truly joyous. God bless you
God bless you too! We're glad you see some value in what we do to revive these old structures.
Those driftwood things are awesome. I like working with driftwood too.
It's a great medium with a lot of different possibilities!
How does a man go about getting a cabin from yall?

You two sure know how to enjoy yourselves. Beautiful wood! Mary
Thank you, Mary! This type of work would be miserable if we didn't have a little fun along the way!
Another incredible adventure with Captain Elias and the Scarlet Knight , I love watching these videos fellas, keep up the great work !! Fist bumps from Canada :)
Haha thank you for watching! Many more adventures to come!
Thanks for the shout out!! Great story, guys. ❤ As your mom, it was a nail biter knowing you were out in those conditions. Prayers were answered.
Absolutely! Thankful for your inspiring work in art and life!
Awsome project fellas !! Happy to see you back , can't wait for more videos!! Keep on learning new ( old ) things !!
We certainly will! Excited to share everything we've learned in the past year. Thanks for watching!
Awesome project, not sure if it’s more satisfying watching you tear it down or put it back together.
Definitely a lot more drama in the tear-down department, but more satisfaction in the restoration process for sure!
Awesome job, guys! 👏
Thank you!! 😁
Noice work fellas, subscribed !! Fist bumps from Canada :)
Love our Canadian followers! Great trees up North!
🙌 welcome back to CZcams!
Thank you, thank you! Would be much more challenging without you!
Most underrated channel YT!!!
That is very kind of you to say. Hoping this channel can be a time capsule for our families to look back on someday to see where we started and how far we came. We are very thankful for this journey!
Happy you guys are back. Love your work. Real Americans.
Thank you very much! We are happy to be back. Can't wait to show you what else we've been up to!
That was a cool ad you found in the second cabin. I would have kept it and framed it.
Yes, we've found many awesome newspaper ads!
I'm glad to see you guys back on posting here on YT. What a heck of a project.
We are happy to be back on CZcams! have plenty of content to share in order to catch you all up on what we've been up to!
Reclaiming old materials is probably the best way to go, rather than a controlled burn.Infestations prevent reusing lumber, but not recycling tin rooves.
It’s not ugly,it’s just beautiful
You demimish the value of the building
I doubt the pigs need electricity to stay warm but there automatic waterers probably do. Looks like that guy raises pigs like I do, bedded inside with straw or cornstalks
Thanks for sharing all this - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Peg in mid Jersey
Awesome
Nice job!
That is so awesome. Great testimony and you both have great work ethics!! Praise the Lord that you are doing this!
God Bless you brothers in Christ I would love to know more about your business God has been laying it on my heart to start something like this up in Vermont. Reach out if you can!
My heart is so warm watching this video! There is nothing better than a project exactly like this- and y'all just tell your stories perfectly! I am so happy to watch you guys continuing to be successful and even more, sharing the happiness it brings you with all of us! I just can't get over how well done your videos are! They give me so much inspiration, for us to someday find someone to help us make our own videos!
I sure do like your saying "sometimes you just gotta be raccoons"; it's a very important lesson to learn in our business, especially when you've got impatient buyers or excavators hot on your tail, just waiting for your deadline to pass. It hurts, but it has to be done! I'm happy for you guys, it's a huge step to both go full time, supporting your families doing what you love (and truly, are quite good at!). Yeah, the anxiety can feel crippling, but it also is amazing the way that God provides for us, bringing us that sale or project at the exact moment we need it (and not a MOMENT sooner, an I right?! Lol!). This is yet another wonderful video. I just love how much watching you guys do your thing and banter reminds me of every day of ours- it's crazy to see you guys, hundreds and hundreds of miles away, having totally similar experiences and responses to them as we do! It really is freaky. Keep up the amazing work, guys, and keep making these VERY well made videos! You're just killin it!
Awesome video! Love the line dancing moves!
Oh man I saw this video pop up as I was on the road doing Barn Wood delivery myself and was so excited to see you guys still posting videos and fighting to grow your business. Love the content and love that there are other believers sharing in the passion of reclaiming wood from barns. Keep pursuing the Lord and may he continue to open doors for you as you move forward. Sincerely Jordan from Saskatchewan Canada.
Thanks for the encouragement! It’s been challenging to film videos and get work done. Definitely something we want to do more of! God bless!
One of your best!! 👏
Thank you, mom!
Your stories just get better and better with each video! Bravo, boys 👏🏻
Thanks, Ava!

Long live the bone fort 🙌
Still haven't gone back to look since the snow melted. Excited to see if we can find any evidence!
Great childhood memories. Hope you find your bone graveyard! Your childhood sounds similar to what our boys did on our acreage. The stories they tell me now makes me wonder where was I during all this??? 🤣 beautiful barn. Mary
Thanks, Mary! This was definitely a coming of age property for Elias!
Congratulations guys! What a beautiful barn and funny story about Elias as a kid. 😁
Thank you, Jennifer!
